What a fun video. True story. My brother and I took my 72 Bronco through here - not even knowing where we were. We were just looking for places to fish and started at Eagle Lakes - no bites, so we kept going. I had a 4" lift, posi, NP435 and a 351W. Those were the only saving graces. We stacked rocks for 4 hours getting through that wedge. This was in the 90s and on a weekday, so, not crowded.
Absolutely EPIC! These rigs look right at home in that gnarly terrain. Super cool seeing Rex wheel his Taco on this trail and the Phoenix JK is incredible! Job well done everybody!
That is an great group and TRAIL on another level that black jeep looks Bad Ass i like everything on that build that motor sound outstanding good very very Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
I was one of the Tacoma’s who ran into you guys getting into the staging area. Thanks for letting us pass thru. Those rigs are badass in person. Wish we waited to check them out while you guys unloaded.
I know I may get attacked on this one from you Jeep lovers, but dang that Toyota is gettin it. The axle break could have been prevented, and in some spots it needed help, but regardless it's going practically where these 100k + Jeeps are going an I bet the toyota doesn't even have 10k worth of suspension mods. Now imagine if you built the tacoma, and got rid of the IFS for a solid axle up front. It would be a beast! Mad props to the Jeep owners in this video. Shit looks dope and super rad! Great driving and for being safe out on the trails.
If I ever have the money to spend on a jeep the way these guys do I'll definitely do something similar to this build I'm currently driving a 94XJ on a 3 inch lift with 33's🙃
It's been a while since we have watched one of your vids! My husband and I live on our sailboat, sailing around the world... maybe we will cross paths out there someday. Cheers~
Great video & footage! My only complaint is: homeboy better keep his left arm inside Gridloc at all times if he doesn’t want to lose it! Ya never know what can happen in a split second...
I ebelieve that tacoma was not a trd off road. Which means the axles are 30 spline vs 32 spline. So a bit less strength. The new 3rd Gen trd off roads only ones with the newer 32 spline shafts. Not saying it still wouldn’t have broke but for sure has a higher torque capacity
I'm a Cancer survivor I've been building on my jeep tj for 5 years. I have 05 frame on 00 jeep done rite. My dream was to take it wheeling like that . Just did 8.8 swap regear 4.56 wish I did 5.18. I haven't geared front and I'm looking for a axle.👍🤟
The Jeep with the baby trailer side kick is crazy as heck.
Rex's commentary is so entertaining.

Unbelievable power of the jeep!!
I love that : "Rex is still stuck we don't know where he's at"....He will either catch up or the Bears will dine well tonight. :)

Good partners!
That is an great group and TRAIL on another level that black jeep looks Bad Ass i like everything on that build that motor sound outstanding good very very Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
Best Fordyce vid I've seen. Thanks for showing more than just the main water crossings. That trail looks like a BEAST!!!! Nice wheeling!!!

Great video & footage! My only complaint is: homeboy better keep his left arm inside Gridloc at all times if he doesn’t want to lose it! Ya never know what can happen in a split second...
That is awesome nice Jeeps
Sweet vid we were at the Rubicon the same weekend getting wet lol. No more Constance out with you guys?
Thats the first 3rd gen I've seem break a rear axle shaft. I'm hitting fordyce tomorrow in my tacoma.
I was thinking the same thing.
Had you done this trail before or first time in the third gen ?
Definitely bring several spare CVs, several axles and a spare engine and Trans. Those tacos break non-stop.
One of my fav trails 🙌🏻
I really like your vehicle it
Yer nutz...I love it! 😍

I'd love to go there. I need to start my Explorer/Ranger build. Dam I need more time and money.

Made that trail look way harder than it is. Didn't even Make it to the worst part.
When is that girls mustang getting built?
What motor is in Hollys jeep?
Ya man
Time for another 1 ton yota build
How does this dudes shorts stay on?
Everyone always wants you to carry their stuff when you own a pickup.
It amazes me how some people are so mechanically inclined. I can’t even put together a Walmart study desk. 🤦🏻♂️
I would love to have made that trip
Cool
Shit after rolling his jeep I would love to have it. Rolled its still way better then mine.
Too bad you didn’t get to wh3. It is epic.
