The silver squatchee on top of the hat can be polished with any silver polishing cloth. Cleaning can be done with steamer that’s how I clean mine but full water washing should be done sparingly to avoid fading.
i’ve noticed on my hat that the OS tag is a little longer then yours, yours looks cut off but everything else on the hat is spot on good all the tags are on there, silver top does that make a difference on mine or no? or did you just fold the tag??

The scroll patch on the back usually comes with denim or panel hats with what I’m seeing the newer versions, I have another video up for a dagger denim CH cap with a scroll patch on the back here, ruclips.net/video/SMj29ybYSHU/видео.html . Now on to your question about the Maltese cross and “chrome hearts” name on the inside of the snap backs. Only the vintage versions of the snaps do not have them on the inside this is why always check the “squatchee”, the silver Maltese cross topper of the hat.I do show in this video as well as the other one what to look for. 85% off what I’m seeing for sale are fake.

However, I checked the cap against your video tips, and all checks out: the silver squatchee (looks one silver piece with curvy outline ), the front logo on the tag has spacing at the top (like the screenshot in your video), and there is a line of stitching above the bar code, it has the Chrome hearts logo wording all going through inside, plus at back plastic piece for adjusting size it has the capitalised MADE IN USA....so what do you think? The only thing that was throwing me off was the scroll, and your answer suggests the staple CH trucker shouldn't have it. It isn't denim nor a matte boy collab. Let me know, keen to hear from you on this
No, if it’s a newer version license plate patch trucker hat, I’ve seen some being sold with the patch on back. Haven’t been back in to a chrome spot in a while since the corona virus stuff. If everything else checks out? you are good, the hat has to be legit.
