The newest episode of invisibilia was about an implant that would shock certain parts of the brain to combat depression and anxiety. People then reported getting less sleep as a side effect, but they went from suicidal to normal and maybe even euphoric. Once the implant was turned off the effects went away instantly.

@@RearAdmiralTootToot LOL In a way, that's actually true. The only thing people would connect to in the BBS time, was those pocket calendar posters of naked girls or pictures of porn magazines. If you wanted to test your setup and have a directory of pictures of cats, you'd get a couple visits per week, but with porn, you'd have hundreds per day. Nevertheless, it was the price, the coin if you will, used to setup what we have now, that fortunately is way beyond what anyone expected and keeps growing.

The reason he never makes you feel stupid is because he's not intelligent. He has knowledge and experience, and that combination gives him credibility in his field, but he isn't intelligent. He was the only person on this panel I couldn't stand listening to, and for the first 10 minutes I couldn't figure out who Eugene Mirman was. His voice is super annoying until you realize he is Gene from Bob's Burgers, but even that was more tolerable than the deGrasse Kicking my ears took from listening to Neil Tyson pretend to be daft to the point where it didn't even seem like it was an act.

Not being the most sensitive person in the room, I was blown away by everyone's connectiveness on the panel. I really was. I had ties to most questions and discussions to things I saw on a daily basis. We can try to understand the mechanics until the end of time, but the effects are always here/there.... Our brains aren’t broken when we have a “mental breakdown” The breakdown is the mind deciding to fix itself bc you haven’t figured out how to live in alignment with the universe. My mental breakdown while hard and emotional has helped me have a much happier experience in every moment of life. Some of us have to hit reset. Then we begin realizing we have all we need inside each of us and there isn’t anything to worry about. That our life is completely based on our perspective.

tried explaining this to my family and they just thought I was nuts lol

People really don't want to admit they're not perfect apparenly.
Some even go to the extreme of inventing a hypothesis that THE UNIVERSE CHANGES rather than admitting their memories do. For real, it sounds insanse because it is but that's exactly what the 'Mandela effect' supposedly is.
