- Bodycam footage shows police rescuing a woman being held captive in the second-floor bedroom of a Kentucky home on August 16th. Officers discovered Jonna Wilson with a chain around her neck, locked with a Masterlock, and bolted to the floor after witnessing her break a window. Upon entering the bedroom, officers found Wilson restrained and proceeded to remove the chain and lock from around her neck. The Louisville Metro Police Department arrested Moises May, Wilson's estranged boyfriend, and charged him with kidnapping, wanton endangerment, assault, among other charges related to the incident. The Law&Crime Network's Sierra Gillespie provides details on this case.

Way to hijack your videos from PoliceActivity. Do they know you are stealing their content? BTW, you need to re-read PoliceActivity's description of this case. He never asked her to come clean the house, they got into a verbal argument and he drug her around the house cutting her hair with a machete, then she left. a few hours later, she stupidly returned to the house, this time he held her captive. Don't do drugs, kids.

It absolutely is heartbreaking, and thank god she was saved. However, I just wanted to add, this is very common in people who have been victims of a crime. I realized very early in my career that it has nothing to do with how emotionally distressed a person is or how their mental status is. Asking them later, why they apologized, I commonly hear that it was because they felt they were causing the officer (in their eyes) unnecessary stress and feeling they involved the officers for no reason, not realizing that is their job and they were called to that place. Its quite interesting from a psychological aspect.

it's weird how these criminals have the audacity to plead not guilty. She's lucky to escape.
You obviously do not know how the criminal justice system works. Judges almost never allow you to plead guilty at your arraignment. I tried to plead guilty to a shoplifting charge that was like, many years old and I just wanted to get it over with. The judge instead deferred my sentence and put me on probation for a year and then dropped the charges when I was finished.
Not-guilty pleas are almost always entered duriny arraignment, bc it allows for a trial. Guilty or not the state has to prove Beyond a reasonable doubt that you committed the crime
@@dominiquecruz7503 They usually don't want trials. It's why they started the whole thing with plea deals. The Founding Fathers were very much against plea deals and they were never part of US law until the last couple decades. They lead to guilty people getting lighter sentences and innocent people accepting sentences, so they don't go to prison even longer if they lose. Yeah, we would almost all agree that an innocent person should never plead guilty... but it happens far more often than people know. Sometimes evidence appears to make a person look guilty... and especially to the accused, the cops/DA will make it look like they have evidence to get a confession from a person... but the problem is that not all their suspects are guilty. When you get an innocent person believing there is evidence to prove him guilty, then he will oftentimes take a plea deal to not get the full amount of jail time. Plea deals are inherently unjust and I just can't imagine how we've allowed our government to start using them. (Forgive the rant. This is an important topic to me and I believe that it should be for everyone. I can't even recall how many cases I've heard of innocent people accepting a plea deal only to be proven innocent later, sometimes even after decades of imprisonment or after their release from prison or their death).
The court system is a business. It employs a lot of lawyers. They will not just let you not put a lawyer to work!
@@CruceEntertainment Kinda funny that the one's that are supposed to protect you from unjust "laws" are also the one's that profit from the unjust laws. It's why lawyers love plea deals. (and it's why the Founding Fathers hated them and why they were never part of law until the last couple decades. The fact that the guy pleaded not guilty is sick of him! It's like he doesn't want to go to jail!
Poor girl, glad she was rescued!
That woman is brave. And the people who heeded to her screams and actually called for help are brave as well. Because this could’ve ended up way worse.
This poor woman i know has major PTSD now from this.
Who are the brave?
The ones who called?

@@puntvandekomma9498 I see what you mean now.
It's sad that yt is such a joke now.
How is she brave she’s just standing there
Hedge clippers? Those are bolt cutters. Sheesh.
🤣🤣
I was scrolling looking for this comment! LOL
I am a retired firefighter and every engine and ladder truck has bolt cutters in a compartment! Where the heck did she get “hedge clippers”??
For real; doesn't sound very safe to try and cut a chain on someone's neck with hedge cutters 😱
"They used hedge clippers to neaten up the chain and get rid of any overgrown areas"
Someone give that woman a hug please
"I'm sorry sir" this broke my heart
That poor thing sounds so traumatized; it breaks my heart. She needs a LOT of hugs.
But Republicans say that slavery is no that bad.
What?
😢it's sad and she needs those hugs
The thought that there are so many more people out there trapped like this poor woman is terrifying.
Omg my heart breaks for her.,😮 this brought tears to my eyes🤧 thank God she was able to break window to yell for help ,🙏, the guy that did this i hope he gets long term in jail. Some crazy folks in this world.
❤Thank God they found her when they did. Hope she found the help she needed❤
Kudos to the people who helped! A thank you to the person that called the police, and to the guy who offered his ladder. Bless you.
I'm glad this woman was rescued with great compassion and effort from LMPD. Prayers for her recovery and his torment in the future, but thank God those were bolt cutters and not hedge trimmers
Trump was right!

So sorry my dear, dear lady, hope you have access to MHC as you will surely need it, move far away with your children & survive & thrive, sadly, so many of the missing are being held like this...😔
I don’t know that this was so kind to release. But, thank God they found her
She’s apologizing…my heart. Poor woman.
It's heartbreaking to hear someone apologize for what's been done to them. That more than likely stems from her childhood. All too familiar. Hope things start looking up for that woman. ❤
Hope she protects her child, does not let her child get into a similar relationship.
Church and Rehab. I think this lady got off track
She bailed the guy out and moved right back in. Same neighbor filmed it. She's no victim they're meth heads.
See how easily you got fooled. And your emotions got played with for clicks.
Who cares if she was chained up.......when she was smoking meth for 2 weeks
My thoughts exactly. I've experienced various traumatic experiences since before I was a year old and I'm now 34 and whenever something bad happens to me I apologise
@@gabbylauren it's a constant guilt trip even though in the back of your mind a part of you knows it's not your fault.
I hope he goes to jail for life ! What a horrible cruel thing to do !
I'm so glad she's ok
This is absolutely terrifying. . . May her and her child be protected to heal and move on from this nightmare.
imagine seeing something like this . I bet officers have PTSD too
This goes on every day in this sick world
How do you plead not guilty? Wow.
Holy crap. This is so sick. Good job officers. So sorry that you have endure such s**t.
You never know about people who are on meth which they both are. The woman could've waited till the guy was gone and chained herself up because he cheated or something. That's why we have due process and innocent until PROVEN guilty. I know it looks like he's guilty but like I said you never know. Meth heads are crazy.
She bailed the guy out and moved right back in. Same neighbor filmed it. She's no victim they're meth heads.

You would feel no empathy for the woman if you knew she was smoking meth all month. Right?
@@sophossisys it's not his responsibility to do your research for you. I know he's yelling the truth because I live minutes from these meth heads. And this is normal life for people like that.
@rockscousteau Couldn't care less what she smoked. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER coz I'm not a POS
When she goes back to him after she had this happen, she's too far gone for my sympathy.
What a deranged physco. I hope she gets better.
She won’t. She’ll have nightmares for the rest of her life. He needs the death penalty for this
This is why we presume innocent until PROVEN guilty because it's very possible the women waited until the guy was gone and chained herself up. Maybe he cheated and she went psycho. They're both on meth so that's why here in America we have due process and must prove guilt beyond any doubt.
@@Woodman-Spare-that-treemany innocent people have been put to death just to fond out later it was the wrong person. I'm not saying this guy didn't do it only that we don't know. Only the guy and that meth head woman knows the truth.

That’s insane. What an incredible rescue! I’m sure this will end up on “I Survived”. So glad she is ok.
She bailed him out and moved right back in a few days later.

I don't have the words to express how I feel seeing this in my beloved country of the USA. Shalom to this poor lady.
Hats off to the concerned neighbors..
That poor woman, how traumatic. I’m glad she was rescued. It’s sad how she apologized to the cop, I bet she has been treated poorly by men throughout her life and apologizing is her defense. So sad, hope she has support to help her through this.
Nice generalization bro, instead of focusing on the victim you decide to stick in your bs world view
He deserves the death penalty, plain and simple. This gave me chills. I can't believe people would do this to another person. She's extremely lucky to be rescued as early as she was. Most don't make it out alive within a few days. God was watching over her. 💖 Big applause to the police, first responders, and neighbors for calling for her heroic rescue.
Seriously. I can’t believe people would argue that the death penalty is too harsh. Did they just watch what I watched? That guy is worse than a rabid dog…he consciously did this to another human being. These types are not fit to live in society or be free.
Period!
@@sonofhibbs4425the death penalty is too generous. Solitary with a single meal a day until his last breathe is better. Most people is solitary beg for death.
I agree I agree. Scum of the Earth. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Death penalty is a quick way to him to get out. Prisión will be like sending him to a hotel. He deserves the same as he did to that poor woman but in open field in summer.
This poor young mom 😭 and I pray she gets so far away from that evil monster 💀 that did this to her
Oh my goodness. Imagine who else is being held captive....
