Everyone fanboying for hybrid tech until their hybrid car has a MGU or battery pack crap out outside of warranty. Have fun shelling out thousands for that replacement. The fact that Acura can still build these without a hybrid and still satisfy increasingly stiffer emissions regulations is the real innovation here.

Seriously, we are getting so lazy as a society we need our cars to make lane changes for us?

That’s not it. We are collectively being conditioned and being prepped for autonomous driving. Like Pavlov’s dog. 😂😂😂😂

This seems like a nice car, they did not go nuts trying to make it into a rolling cellphone on wheels with a glass drivetrain.

I bit the true-touch bullet and bought a 2024 Advance trim. Took a few days to get use to it, but now I really like it.

I loved my 2013 MDX. I especially loved the 3.5 litre V6. I’m surprised that I still have a driver’s license after driving it. I’d get on the freeway and just cruising along. I’d look at the speedometer and I going over 90.

correction the 2011-2013 have the 3.7 engine which puts 300HP, I too can do 100 MPH and my MDX handles amazing because of the torque vectoring! i have 120K miles in mi car,

      My 2013 had a 3.5 V6 with around 268 horsepower or so.

Lovely vehicle with nice upgrades, always liked the MDX design since the 1st gen. Glad they stuck with a tried and true power train.

On the type s version. I had a chance to talk with the sound engineers and it's pretty cool all the tech behind it. They've been in business almost 100 years now

Only 51 k ?? Great car, but I am content occasionally driving my wife’s 2015 MDX, it should easily make it to 2035 with minimal problems.

Acura's previous TTI touch pad was actually less distracting to use than a touch screen. The catch is that there's a 2 week learning curve to develop the muscle memory. Reviewers and test drivers won't drive the vehicle long enough to appreciate this, but owners do.

Yep. We have a 2024 RDX and the touchpad is fine. Less time with eyes off the road Plus, the screen isn't marred with fingerprints.

Fully agree - we have a 2024 Type S (coming from a Volvo XC90) and really like the touch pad over the touchscreen. More intuitive and easier to navigate, after the aforementioned learning curve.

If it had the same level of seat comfort for both driver and passenger front seats, the Mazda CX-90 is a better vehicle.

Innovation in the auto world in the past decade has been to move towards tistra lcting gimicky tech overload so If they moved backwards that would be welcome.

The Acura 3.5 V6 is one of the best engines ever built. Ask Hyundai owners if they like their engines.

@@scottarmen9097True. I leased the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. What a piece of junk. Lots of software problems. Dangerous turbo lag, quality issues abound. Hyundai will NOT help you. They will blame it on YOU. They are still giving me a headache after I traded in the car. Run away as fast as you can from Hyundai- Kia.
