Well done video. I used the Winchester PMB 150gr. load chambered in .30-06 this year during deer season. Shot a big old doe. She ran downhill approximately 50yds before collapsing. This is one awesome deer bullet! Left a blood trail that a blind man could've followed. I prefer a bullet that provides an entry and exit wound because not every deer will drop when shot and this greatly aids tracking. These perform on par with premium bullets at a price comparable to standard hunting ammunition.

Devestating round. Last year, @ 250 yds I hit a mule deer buck broadside. All that was left of both lungs, I could hold in one hand. Both completely desintegrated. Buck only stumbled 10 yds, before he fell dead. Shoots accurately too out of my Browning X-bolt .308. ie 1" 5-shot groups @ 100 yds.

If you ever do a gel test on Hornady's 150gr .308 Interbond loaded in their new Superformance ammunition, PLEASE let me know. I think it would be a great bullet for deer size game in the 150gr bullet... marries up the bonded bullet construction with the spectacular ballistics of the Ballistic Tip / SST. They can also be purchased for only about $5 more than PMB or Fusion ammunition.

Win. PMB and Fed. Fusion are bonded core bullets. Ballistic Tip bullets designed for big game are not. Expect 90%+ weight retention with bonded core bullets. Expect 65%- weight retention with Ballistic Tip bullets. Hornady Interbond, Barnes TTSX, Nosler Accubond, etc. are premium bullets that provide the best of both worlds in term of weight retention and superior ballistics, but as well at a premium price. In fact they will cost you an arm and leg dependent upon the cartridge!

Hey bro I just bought some 180 grain power max bonded for my winchester model 70 30-06. I was wanting some feedback on the ammo. Any input on the ammo if it was a good purchase or not, got them for 21 bucks a box

Hey can anyone answer why ammo manufacturers Rip people off by not making the bullets to the powers they are intended to be. Rather they sell everyone water down weak ammo?

They usually load on the weak side to avoid damaging a weapon and incurring a lawsuit. They have no idea what make or model of firearm their ammunition will be used in. Want better ? Then roll your own. I make all my hunting ammo myself.
