  • The ARC Enclosure for the Bambu Lab P1P was designed by our partner, ThrutheFrame, to fully enclose the P1P. In this video, I go over how to build the ARC, and I compare the noise level and temperature of the printer before and after installing the ARC enclosure to the Bambu Lab P1P 3D printer. I also give you 10 helpful tips for the build!

    I purchased the X1C cable chain for my P1P and everything fitted perfectly. It came with the chain, anchor point to the frame, anchor point to the tool head and a rubber grommet for the PTFE tube to pass through the frame. I also noticed that unlike the X1C/X1, my P1P does not have a main board cooling fan so I will be adding one and suggest anyone who is looking into enclosing theirs do some research into the topic.

    • @madebyjwillis
      @madebyjwillis  Год назад +4

      Bambu Lab mentioned in the release that the X1C chain puts a lot of stress on the hot end so they do not recommend using that version of the chain. It may work fine, and you may never have issues, but that is the official stance from the manufacturer.
      Most P1Ps do not have a cooling fan (as you stated). A cooling fan can be added, but there are various stances on whether this is needed or not. Most have used the ARC without any issues and without a fan. If people have issues with the main board, I’ll issue an update here on RUclips!

      @@madebyjwillis They now only sell the X1 cable chain and have it marked for both X1 and P1P. They have a huge notice saying "For P1P 3D printer, cable chain can only work with the heavy duty toolhead cable. Using it with the original toolhead cable to cause any damage will void the warranty." That part is the "P1P Heavy Duty Toolhead Cable" and currently sells for $11.99 USD

      @@cybrsage Cheers man, I will look into getting a heavy duty tool head cable for mine, it's probably done about 50hrs with the X1 cable chain and so far so good, I checked that it can freely move and not put any load on the cable but I will replace it now they have one available that is recommended 😁
