    I love the way you taught how to make this bag, lining it before stitching, and the making of the handles and closure. So much easier to follow than others I've seen. I'm going to try it in a bulkier yarn. Thanks for that tip as well. Great job

      The bag is a 11 inches wide , so its not small. You could crochet 2 triangles and sew them into the side to cover the empty spaces. Or use more of the lining fabric and sew a double layered triangle into each side space. That way you get the same look but have the inside bigger.

    Thank you, I just subsribed. You said the finished bag is 11 inches wide, but how high is it in the centre( from the bottom to the top of the closure)? I think I would sew a square double-layered bag using the lining fabric, and sew it inside to the finished crochet bag. That would give it more inside space, but it might not look as special. I like to give it my own touch which is great for some of us. You are a great teacher, calm and precise.

    • @handmadebyraine
      @handmadebyraine  5 лет назад

      Thank you, Sigrid! My bag is quite small, it measures 5,5 inches from bottom to closure edge and 10.5 inches from bottom to start of handle on side edge. I am planning to make a bigger beach bag with the same pattern. I used denim fabric to sew the lining.
