UPCYCLED denim decor - I made this out of old jeans!

- Easy to crochet up a cute pillow for your apartment or dorm using just yarn, a pillow and old jeans!
Materials:
Yarn (I used acrylic), jeans to cut into long strips, fabric glue, crochet hook the correct size for your yarn, yarn needle.
Optional: thread for finer sewing, buttons or zipper for a different enclosure.
I appreciate your creativity! I’ve been up cycling denim and bed linens for 15 years, which means I’ve seen many ideas and techniques along the way. You’ve given me an inspiration to crochet a denim rug with heavy cotton yarn as an alternative to using a loom (which I don’t have). The pillow looks lovely, I just need a new kitchen rug, and necessity has often been the mother of my invention. ;)

Nice pillow! Crocheting denim is a great idea.
You could miter the denim strips on your domestic machine prior to crocheting the denim strips. This will give you a continuous flow of fabric to work with.
That would be a cute rug also!

You read the fine print on the tag. You can remove it since you bought and own the pillow.
You would think you would have put it in camera after you apologized. If we can’t see it, how can we learn it?

Really hard to see what you're doing when you are not in the camera
If you had crocheted this in the round, like a spiral, you wouldnt have had that seam down the back.
Shame most of what you are doing is going off screen. Loads of space in the centre and the top.
