    The first PCC streetcar to run on the west coast was in 1937 in San Diego, California, beating out Los Angeles by a few weeks. Other western cities to run PCC streetcars were Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, San Franciso as well as Mexico City, Tampico, Mexico City and Vancouver.
    This video features vintage film of various PCC stretcars in operation.
    Colour Film for part three was furnished by Jim Borland, Lewis Swanson, Richard Glaze, John Prophet, Ralph Cantos and from the film collections of Don Olsen, Brian Kelly and David Williams.

    Great to see my hometown of El Paso, TX in the video.
    Had no idea they were purchased used from San Diego. I remember them when I was a kid. They ran until 1974 and they resumed in the downtown/UTEP area a few years ago.
