I'm from New York City and ever since the first time I visited Toronto back in the 60's I remember riding on the streetcars as well as the trolley bus and was kind of sad when I was there in the 90's to find out that the trolley buses stopped running.
Great video! Just wish there was some more interior subway footage apart from just the M1 scenes. Hopefully we can get some retro H1 and H2/3 interior videos soon…👌 Thanks for post bud! 👍😃
Although I wasn’t a fan of the narration, which often doesn’t coincide with what we are looking at, the scenes shot are quite amazing and such smooth camera work. Bill did a great job!
I agree totally. The narration was overbearing and contained a few errors. I will say that the video was made in the pre-internet age. Bill listed all the fleet information for the trolleybuses, streetcars and subways which may have been appreciated at the time. Now that information can be googled in seconds by anyone interested.
I’m from Canada from Ontario and I love the TTC I am from Guelph Soon to be a Mississauga resident Do you guys have any videos of Mississauga transit buses in the 1990s?
I'm not Canadian but watching these videos and the history is fascinating. Brings back memories. Thank you.

What a great video, I remember the PCCs on the Carlton line. Such great memories, and a wonderful history of a city that was.

Great video... but what about their diesel buses, please?
Great video but the amount of ads made it unwatchable
Unfortunately that’s a RUclips thing.
You have to get RUclips Premium so that you don't have to experience any ads.
