Like you said... when he sings it... you actually hear the lyrics. I just came from you reacting to "Ain't No Sunshine"... and when he sings a sad song, you feel it. There is no "the music was good, but" with him. When he wants to be romantic, like in Way Down, you know it. When he wants to be happy, like the bare Necessities, you are happy too. But when he feels sad in a song, it is suddenly sad.
Absolutely why he's good at his craft! Thank you for spending time on my channel today :)
