It’s crazy how the carX devs can make this … I’m telling you now it’s what every racing game is missing . EA and even 18+ games CATER FOR CHILDREN 😂😂
A little review: game feels great on my wheel, i recommend ffb 0.9 for g920 users but that's just preference.
-Map is fun and flows well, sprint races seem short but im sure thats due to originally being designed as a mobile game
-Chase camera is reminiscent of NFS 2015
-Tons of car customization with variety, tuning is also in depth and has tons of configurations you can dive into
-There is tire wear and fuel usage in the game. Its not too bad (so far) and is manageable enough where you're not constantly worrying about it.
-Money earnings are very gladly improved from the mobile version, turning the grind into something enjoyable
UPDATE:
TUNING IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THIS GAME. If you're having trouble with hanging onto grip with long curves, downforce is REALLY important. Theres lots of options and i havent even begun to play around with it
dont listen to all those reviews about "voice acting" and "ai characters". Its a racing game. When has a racing game ever had good acting and/or acting been an important aspect?.
Everybody keep in mind if you have got a mid-spec pc or anything below it will constantly spike when you first play the game and when you go around the map for the first time so everything can render. So for example if you go to a new part of the map for the first time your fps will spike (drop fps) and then go back up until you have finished driving around the full area atleast once. This is due to bad optimization since its a mobile game imported and a few tweaks to make it into a pc game. Just a heads up to all the people who dont have nasa pc's.
@@7zedk good point. I have a HP Victus 15L (if anyone wanted a baseline for mid tier specs) with a ryzen 5 and 64gb ram.

Ive noticed a few lag spikes, but they've been uncommon and clear up within a few seconds, nothing unplayable
But a payed game like this shouldn't have AI voice acting...
this game 100% gets flamed too much for the AI voice acting when its only for a few minutes at the start of the game and you never hear it again
Ngl i see why they had a hard time making this game on pc this is quite literally new territory for carx devs😭
And think this game is made by one small studio, which makes their games while listening to their fans (ex. card drift racing)
So simple and yet so beautiful.

@@DriftEntry101 well if you watch closely at the begining were he drives the porsche the e-brake light is off...after the intro were he chooses his car he also remapped the e-brake button to his sim wheel and from that point on the e-brake light never goes out again...but guess we´ll never know if this effected the performance or if it´s nothing more then a glitch or bug when remapping your controls to certain unsupported sim wheels...after all the game started its life on a mobile plattform and was never intended to be played with a sim wheel...so there are probably some issues that have´nt been adressed after the conversion to pc...pretty normal these days that they push out games that need patches to fix bugs and glitches.

I played for like 6 hours yesterday. This gives me NFSU 1/2 vibes. My onlygripes are the voices and the lack of graphics settings. Im getting 45fps on ultra just so traffic is fully textured. If i drop to high textures, theres hardly any details until youre like 50' from them.
The amount of traffic in this is absolutely insane. I feel like this is what the racing community needed

I hope they improve traffic at some point. Like, stoplights don't even work anymore and traffic has no set of rules. But overall the game is a LOT better than i expected from a mobile game, made by some Russian indie dev. Triple A companies better start taking notes because THIS will be KING with a few improvements and additions.
