Where do you guys get models for your vise and table? Is that something available or do you have to design each of those first? Sorry for the amateur question, still new to this.
@C3DPropShop, thanks for the great question . You can generally find most of the vices and fixtures from within Fusion’s data panel under the CAM Samples area and looking for the Workholding section . As pointed out correctly by Kristian you can almost always find 3D models of your workholding and tables on the manufacturers website . Right, toolpaths are continuing to get better and better. ❤ The problem is the User Interface. Using just a tabbed dialog box is badly hurting Fusion CADCAM. If this doesn't get fixed now, Fusion 360 will go backwards very quickly. State of the art programs like hyperMILL, NC Simul, Vericut, Esprit TNG, CAMPlete, etc. all make extensive use of Microsoft Panels and multiple trees.
@@JonBanquerhighly disagree. Coming from mastercam with the Microsoft panels is so much more tedious. Fusion tab layout streamlines teaching new people and my programming time for the same components is cut to 1/4th the time it takes in mastercam. The consistency of the tab method keeping things categorized makes it highly efficient and easy to use for all levels.
Now in control compensation and it will be perfect.

The manufacturer of your vice shold have a 3d model of it that you can download,the table you might have to model.
