+Drumdums Thanks buddy. Still tweaking settings but the background noise and echo is gone which is a HUGE improvement. Absolutely underrated. I wish Carpenter would've done more King adaptations like Reiner and Darabont.
I always loved how cool the social groups are portrayed in this movie. Arnie's a nerd but his best friend is Dennis, the jock, and Arnie dates Leigh, the hot new girl in school that normally the more popular guys would be sweeping up. And the major bully pair is Moochie and Buddy who are a lanky biker dude and the fat kid. So interesting.
It's actually very realistic. I was in high school in the 80's and there was a much looser social strata. People weren't nearly as stuck up and nerds could be friends with jocks and popular kids.
@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 I was in high school in the late 80s/early 90s. I was on the football team and my best friend, to this day, was a so-called nerd.
Nice to see a review of this online. I always loved this movie. It’s aged well, too - still kinda cool, and very underrated. The Plymouth Fury and the soundtrack are the real stars.
This was always one of my favorite John Carpenter movies...my brother and I used to watch it all the time when we were kids. Then in my freshmen year of college, I had to read the novel for my English class! There were a few things that were left out that I wish had been in the movie (including the character of Roland LeBay). Another thing had to do with Arnie’s “transformation”. In the movie, they seemed to only concentrate on his mental/emotional changes...but in the book, Arnie had really bad acne that suddenly started clearing up once he bought Christine...also the fact that he wore really thick glasses then soon after buying Christine no longer needed them! Both of these were important plot points in the book; just as important as the way his attitude changed. I think all of those changes in Arnie should have been shown in the movie so the audience could see how much control Christine truly had over him; especially since the character of Roland was eliminated.
I never got the impression Arnie was adopting LeBay's persona. Always felt to me like the relationship he had with Christine is what corrupted him. I personally prefer the idea that the car was born conscious, that it has feelings, desire, and motivation, like a possessive girlfriend.
Good job on the review, Cody. Christine is a great Stephen King and John Carpenter collaboration. Me and my mom (since she's a big Stephen King fan) we love this movie and I never heard of it until she showed it to me. This movie deserves to be a classic and the character of Arnie is one of the best characters ever written and well played.
Christine is my 2nd favorite John Carpenter film, The Thing is first, and it's such a fantastic horror movie. The relationship between Arnie and Christine is what drives the movie. As for me, this movie reminded me so much of The Car, another one of my old school horror classic, but Christine improves on what The Car did. I was a bit disappoint that they made some changes in the movie because I love Roland LeBay's character in the book. Overall, another excellent video Cody.
Hands down one of my favourite films ever, love everything about it, the Carpenter feels, the score, the soundtrack. It’s probably my favourite King adaptation I’m sure Kevin Bacon would have been great in the role but I can’t imagine anyone but Keith Gordon as Arnie, such a fantastic performance.
Christine is my favorite Stephen King book/movie. I think if they would have got big name actors like Kevin Bacon it would have made the movie less mysterious. When I re-watched this movie I always get amazed by the acting and connection between Arnie and Christine. I honestly believe there isn't a better connection between characters in a horror movie. Michael and Lori's connection isn't on this level, neither is Freddy and Nancy's. I will go as far as Jason and Pamela Voorhees's connection doesn't match up to Arnie and Christine's. As for a remake it would be a mistake. I don't think there's an actor who can pull off Arnie. Also I believe if there's a remake they would try to make it like the original. The only way I see a remake happen is if Stephen King and John Carpenter work with the guys who remade Halloween.
The reason why they cut out Roland lebay was because of an American werewolf in London where the main character’s dead friend is taunting him into killing himself. The producers of Christine was afraid that it would be too similar, so they cut Roland out and made Christine evil from the beginning.

Also it's been said that Randall Flagg, Pennywise , and the entity from Children of the Corn are all the same evil in different forms. Dillon Workman his books are supposed to all be in the same universe. Even his JFK assassination book 11/22/63 has the guy time traveling back to 1960s Derry (awesome book btw). That’s not a spoiler, just a fun Easter egg.
I caught the last couple scenes of this as a little kid (4 or 5), and it affected how I played with cars my entire childhood. Magic cars were central to all my playtime.
I love the background music! Nice twist on the soundtrack! Great review, it always blows my mind how overlooked this classic is. A little trivia on why the book and movie are different was because of an American werewolf in London. The movie had just come out a couple years earlier and they didn't want to look like they were copying the whole talking to a dead person and mentally break down.
Everything you said about this film is spot on. What I love about it is how the car itself was filmed. With the ominous tones of the score, it just gave the car a creepy and eerie vibe in every scene it was in.
I think that both versions of Christine's origin work in their own way. The version where she's possessed gives the justification for Arnie acting more like LeBay, while the version where she's just evil from the start frees her up for a new identity, which I think they did a great job with as a possessive, controlling girlfriend.
I agree that this movie is so underrated. Different from the book, yes, but awesome in its own right. The best scene in this movie has got to be 'ok....show ne' the music in that scene. The sound when the headlights come on, it still gives me goosebumps every time! That entire movie score is amazing!
Having a dead character in the backseat talking to Arnie would have given off too much of an American Werewolf in London vibe and eliminated much of the mystery of not knowing.
I always thought that maybe Christine is a play on Pristine, meaning "in it's original condition or untouched" and Christine always repairs itself into it's original condition. Anyone?
Just checked out Christine for the first time, I would probably say that it is John Carpenters 2nd best film behind Halloween, the character development of Arnie going from being the nerdy teen to dark and sinister bad boy because of his obsession with Christine is eerie storytelling, thanks for the recommendation Cody
Funny thing today going to the markets with Anthony was we drove by a building where a red 57 Chevy was on a rotating display in front and I called out " Oh Shit, Christine Lives!". Funny enough it's what led me to your channel when he reminded me. This film was a childhood favorite, I would watch it on VHS And on Ch.13 ( Which played it a lot). The score is forever incredible and proves that the best and most terrifying music comes from simple beats and sounds. It worked for Carpenter, it worked for Zombi, Even Session 9 has simplicity that will make you look over your shoulder. One scene that always stuck with me is the "Ok, Show Me!" scene. The high beams hidden within the synth and the flawless bleed in of The Viscounts classic "Harlem Nocturne". I searched for that song for 15 years and one October evening at a candy shop of all places I heard it and stayed in there until I got the title and have played it since. As for King adaptations this one is in my top 3. Along with ( many will dispute because of the changes) The Shining, and one I feel doesn't get enough love "The Night Flyer". Well done Again. Keep up the awesome.
I just watched Christine earlier today and it was the Shit! It is near being on Top of the Classic Halloween Movie. When i was scrolling through Netflix, i literally had the Excitement going and i watched it and i was so Happy to enjoy this Movie. This is probably the 5th time that i have seen your Review on Christine.
This is another movie I saw in a theatre. I saw it on a 70mm screen and it was breathtaking. I fell in love with the movie so I went out and bought the soundtrack on record or what we call today vinyl. I still have that vinyl as we speak with the same mint condition as it was in 1983 when I bought it. I bought the movie on blu ray, the DTS is magnificent, it's a step up from the DVD which had a terrible sound on it. The sound on the blu ray is awesome especially the part near the end where arnie pops out of the windshield and grabs Leigh. That part scared the shit out of me for the first time in years since the theatre. This movie is one of my top favourites.
For anyone that's read the book, as amazing as it is, I actually enjoyed the more simple aspect of the film. I liked the unanswered questions we asked ourselves..
Just rewatched Christine(1983) a few days ago & enjoyed it. Got the paperback novelization of the film. I'd avoid any demonically possessed car no matter how classic the car is.
First, how the hell can someone not know this film. It's amazing. The guy playing arnie (Keith Gordon) is so good... His change throughout the film is amazing. Second the Thing is scary as shit. You get paranoid watching that film. Did you review this? Finally great lines in this film.
i like the movie, but the book is so much better, because as you said, the most horrific thing is the transformation of arnie. its not as good in the movie. also the car doesnt just repair itself, but leeches his energy, when he pushes her in circles to "repair" it.
Yeah this movie proves that cars can be scary 😱. One of my favorite John Carpenter movies. 8:47 Oh Yeah ! Music to my ears 😏🤟🎸. Great review Cody and take care and stay safe 👍🏻.
One of my absolute favourite horror movies. I could not imagine anyone else directing this movie, you feel Carpenter in every scene with that synth score. I watch this movie 2 or 3 times a year and never gets old.
@@Kor1134 You said it. Hollywood blows these days. All they can do is $300 million superhero shit-shows or Star Wars garbage or some feminist/racist SJW crap.
+Harley Queen Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, and informing me that I passed 1500. SO excited. I absolutely love this movie so I'm glad I did it justice.
I always felt the [Man and his Car] relationship was represented in this flick because almost every car guy can relate... up to the demonic possession level of course.
I agree that the whole possessed car aspect should have been the same as the original source material had it. perhaps showing what the brother told them happened when his brother had the car first then cut to his selling the car to Arnie. After this movie came out and I'd seen it tn the theater I sooooo wanted a 58 Fury! Ended up with a 77 Delta 88 instead LOL!
You hit the nail on the head as far as all the little things that I like about this movie: the cinematography, the unknown lead actors, the believable (non-cliche) character personalities, the score, it's SO good and so underrated. What's that music that plays in the background throughout the review and where can I get it?
Huge fan of the Stephen King adaptations, especially: Salem's Lot (1979), The Shining (1980), Creepshow (1982), The Dead Zone (1983) (one of the best of them all), Cujo (1983), Christine (1983), Children of the Corn (1984), Cat's Eye (1984), Silver Bullet (1985), Maximum Overdrive (1986), Stand by Me (1986), Creepshow 2 (1987), The Running Man (1987), Pet Sematary (1989), Graveyard Shift (1990), It (1990), Sometimes They Come Back (1991), The Lawnmower Man (1992), The Dark Half (1993), The Tommyknockers (1993), Needful Things (1993), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), The Stand (1994), The Mangler (1995), The Langoliers (1995), Dolores Claiborne (1995), Thinner (1996), Quicksilver Highway (1997), Apt Pupil (1998), The Green Mile (1999), Dolan's Cadillac (1999), Secret Window (2004), Desperation (2006), Nightmares & Dreamscapes (2006), 1408 (2007), The Mist (2007), Under the Dome (2013-2015), Cell (2016), It (2017), Gerald's Game (2017), 1922 (2017).
Your review of Christine is spot on, and I agree with you. I think the movie Christine is an underrated film and is under recognized. It’s funny, because I first watched Kristine on TV, and I was a lot younger so to me, the idea of a car that killed people didn’t really appeal to me, so at first, I thought I hated the movie. Last year, I decided that I would read the book. I read the book and loved it! So I would then decided I would watch the movie. I watched the entire movie on video, and it was amazing! The book helped me to appreciate the characters, and what the car Christine was all about. I also share your same negative. I did think it was weird that they had Christine start out to be evil and unlike the book, they didn’t have the ghost of Roland do you Labe possessing Arnie. I’ve watched Christine several times and I love the acting, and I love what they did with this movie. The score definitely was awesome! John Carpenter really did good with this movie. Sorry if there are any miss spellings. I use dictation on my phone.
I have loved this movie since I was in elementary school and I'm 38 years old now. I saw the movie before reading the book and was instantly hooked. I read the book not too long after and was amazed at how much more detail there is. I'm a hard core Christine fan and even with the differences between the novel and movie, I can't help but to love them both. I too often wondered why they left out Roland LeBay from the movie since he was actually a big part of the novel second to Christine herself. All John Carpenter really mentioned about it was that it was too complex and wanted to keep the movie simple and easy to follow. I don't know how accurate that is but in a way I can see what he means. But, he could have at least had Roland sell Christine to Arnie instead of George. Ah well. Either way Christine seems to be gaining more popularity as time passes. I'm meeting more people who are into the movie as I am. I dream to one day own a Christine clone. Id love one of the actual cars from the movie as there are 2 or 3 in existence, but that will take a lot of cash that I don't have. Christine will be a movie that never gets old. The fact that the regeneration scenes were done long before computer generated graphics were even a thought is what really makes this movie that much better. Really the ONLY way this movie can get ruined would be with a remake slathered with CGI. Should one ever be made I vow to never watch it and stay loyal to only the original. Thank you for posting your review, I really enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing more. Happy motoring!
Cody Leach You're welcome! Oh and I just watched the behind the scenes extras on my Christine DVD. The reason Roland LeBay wasn't brought into the movie is because the ghost and decomposition of a dead character being part of the life of the main character was just done 2 years prior on An American Werewolf in London. John Carpenter felt it would have been too similar to that movie to have it done again in Christine. This is directly quoted from John Carpenter himself.
Cody Leach I thought so too. I think the differences for the purpose of the ghost character would have made enough of a difference to include Roland in the movie, but, oh well. Anyways I thought you'd like to know :)
I have a johnny lightning collector's item with the will darnell's garage display I got it at the auto show at the ix center in march 2020 haven't look for the DVD yet but I am sure I would look for it.
Great review, Cody! By any chance, have you read the book? Because your thoughts on the movie reflect my thoughts on the novel, it's one of King's most underrated works and deserves to be celebrated to a higher level.
Awesome review Cody, I purchased the US Import of this Carpenter classic on Blu ray because the UK version was crap with a awful transfer, I agree this is very underrated film often overlooked & Keith Gordon as Arnie is terrifying in this, I never read the novel so I didn't know the car was actually possessed by the previous owner, I agree with you that would've translated better than just having the car evil as we never know why the car becomes possessed in the movie it just is. Great reviews Cody.
Top notch review of a lost underrated classic. They don't make movies like this anymore. It's weird that with the 80's revival going on that this hasn't been remade or otherwise revived.
I literally just finished the book. I’ve never seen the movie before and never had and interest whatsoever in either of them. But let me tell you it might be Stephen Kings best written book, not my favorite, but definitely up there! It was such an engrossing story from the start. A+ for me now I gotta sit down and finally watch the film. But if you’re reading this give the book a chance cause it’s freaking awesome!
Personal fav since childhood! Since I’ve grown up I’ve seen it as a hopeless yet poetic and terrifying tale of trying to save your best friend from a toxic relationship that’s welllll beyond saving.. just my 2 cents bro love the content as always and keep up the Great work as always
I never really liked this. I always liked The Car better. Mainly because my pops got me into it when I was really young. But I need to give it another shot. Because I was young then and now I'm old. A lot of good things are said about it by the fans.
+Maurice Tha Beast Vlogz Yeah I hear the comparison to the Car a lot. Nostalgia is a powerful thing there's alot of movies that I hold in high regard solely because of memories watching it with my dad as a kid.
Found your channel yesterday, and have been enjoying your reviews. Had to subscribe. Christine is such a great movie and book. Not my favorite King adaptation, but definitely in my top 10.
I am just about to turn 58, & this is my all time favorite movie. I have watched it at least 25 times. it never gets old & the car could not be sexier. great review
Definitely my favorite car movie, another part of the book is Darnell's death 💀 much better than getting crushed up against Christine's Steering wheel and Really!!!! Ya going to be able to sit in a burned up car lol 😂 but I still love ❤️ the movie 🎥
I saw this for the first time last month and I was highly impressed with the film. Don't know what took me so long to watch the movie but better late than never I suppose
I'm 37 and have recently just watched it but had never even heard of it. I discovered it by chance after reading about it on someone's comment relating to James Dean's allegedly cursed car. It's a fairly good film and I'm now a fan of Christine and other Plymouths!
ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite movies of all time......period ....I'm a car guy, been in racing my whole life, built my first car in the driveway....out of spare parts.....so....I can relate to Arnies love for Christine
Keith Gordon is great in this movie, from his slow transformation as he becomes possessed to the subtle smiles he gives when being told horrid things while trying to act concerned. I always felt like he was the basis for the personality of Dean from Supernatural. Also, this is the rare film that sets up and pays off, and has little details you don't pick up on until after repeat viewings. I'm also dismayed this film is so lowly regarded. I think having the car be evil from the beginning is better. King tends to overexplain his supernatural occurrences (see The Shining).
Fun fact: When Leigh is inside Petunia (the bulldozer) with Dennis, it's actually Alexandra Paul's twin sister who had no experience in acting. The mood during filming had a incredible chemistry and was stated that it was a really fun movie to shoot, so the crew decided to pull a prank on John Carpenter, as one of his favorite movies is "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", and switch the real Alexandra Paul without his knowledge.
I read the books this summer, and I forgot about this movie, because I Sorret on TV, but they cut a lot out of it when I Sorret on TV, so I thought it was loved the book and thought it was really creepy. I bring that up, because I hear you on that one negative of the movie. After reading the book, I rewatch the movie and I loved it!
It’s a great movie, I grew up watching this film too. Only thing that bothers me is how Moochie and Buddy get killed. I mean come on Moochie could have just jumped onto the bonnet of Christine to save himself getting crushed and cut in half. And Buddy, why the f**k is he just running in a straight line 😂
I thought the way that the movie showed Arnie breaking bad was truly incredible. I also loved pretty much everything else about the movie. Even though I think the ending could have been a little better A 9.9/10
The fact that The Thing was such a Bomb back on release. Blows my mind and will forever , shows that even back then people dint know good when in their face
I agree, I wonder why Robert Blossoms (George LeBay) wasn’t cast as his brother the owner of Christine. He was a great actor. First saw him in Escape from Alcatraz.
Bro the audio sounds sooooo much better. Christine is highly underrated. Carpenter and King...can't go wrong!
+Drumdums Thanks buddy. Still tweaking settings but the background noise and echo is gone which is a HUGE improvement. Absolutely underrated. I wish Carpenter would've done more King adaptations like Reiner and Darabont.
Still he destroyed so many cars.
This movie is amazing, period.
Intrigued on seeing this
“Watch what you say to my car, she’s real sensitive !”

Christine ... A very underrated classic, love this film
So wait, a book written by King and a movie directed by Carpetener? Nice! ❤️
Oh sh*t! Never knew you reviewed one of my favorite movies!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I love this movie! I rewatch it all the time and it never gets old. One of the best 4K transfers out there too.
This movie is one of my top favourites.
one of my personal favorite king adaptations
For anyone that's read the book, as amazing as it is, I actually enjoyed the more simple aspect of the film. I liked the unanswered questions we asked ourselves..
Just rewatched Christine(1983) a few days ago & enjoyed it. Got the paperback novelization of the film. I'd avoid any demonically possessed car no matter how classic the car is.
When I first watched this trailer & The Making on TV. I always wanted to have a Christine toycar when I was a little kids.(1984) :))
First, how the hell can someone not know this film. It's amazing. The guy playing arnie (Keith Gordon) is so good... His change throughout the film is amazing.
Second the Thing is scary as shit. You get paranoid watching that film. Did you review this?
Finally great lines in this film.
The score in this is amazing! Awesome job on reviewing, Cody! You are SOOOOO cool!...not to mention adorable
Lol Thank you. It's a gift
@@CodyLeachYT I hope you're single; seriously, call me! :) (e-mail me)
Great review and definitely at the top of my Stephen King movie list.
Thanks dad. Absolutely at the top of my list too!
Ritch Leach your son is an awesome RUclipsr
Another underrated JC gem.
i like the movie, but the book is so much better, because as you said, the most horrific thing is the transformation of arnie. its not as good in the movie. also the car doesnt just repair itself, but leeches his energy, when he pushes her in circles to "repair" it.
Same here man. One of Carpenter's best.
Imagine if they remade this movie but in the cars universe
+The Dark Knight Hahaha That's the only way they'd get me to watch another Cars movie.
the Mad Titan Thanos I think a remake of Christine would be kind of cool, especially today! I’d be for it.
Don't send that to Hollywood I beg of you!
@@ghfan51184 Hollywood would ruin it if they tried to remake Christine now. No thank you, leave well enough alone.
@@Kor1134 You said it. Hollywood blows these days. All they can do is $300 million superhero shit-shows or Star Wars garbage or some feminist/racist SJW crap.
Just subbed #1500!!! Adam from Almost Sideways said to check you out! Loved this review so much!
+Harley Queen Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, and informing me that I passed 1500. SO excited. I absolutely love this movie so I'm glad I did it justice.
Awesome Review. I love the book and the film version. I so would love to have that car. No shitter ever came between me and Christine...
+LUIS Hell yeah man that would be a dream to own one of those Furys
Christine is every car guy’s dream turned nightmare
I always felt the [Man and his Car] relationship was represented in this flick because almost every car guy can relate... up to the demonic possession level of course.
Great video and a great film ,saw this first when I was 5 and have loved it ever since
I agree that the whole possessed car aspect should have been the same as the original source material had it. perhaps showing what the brother told them happened when his brother had the car first then cut to his selling the car to Arnie.
What's that music that plays in the background throughout the review and where can I get it?
i'm watching christine right now, i got it on blu ray, it came in the mail today, i ordered it off amazon.
Cody, your channel is probably one of the best finds i’ve had in years! Love your videos!
Thank you
I couldn't agree with you more. One of my favorite John Carpenter movies as well as one of my favorite Stephen King adaptions.
Absolutely flawless movie. I still get chills when Bennings reveals itself as the Thing and howls at the group before being burnt to death.
Christine is a classic & highly underrated. This movie is damn near perfect.
+StrongEnough78 Thanks for watching!
+StrongEnough78 Interesting
Cody Leach I thought so too. I think the differences for the purpose of the ghost character would have made enough of a difference to include Roland in the movie, but, oh well. Anyways I thought you'd like to know :)
Totally agree, still love Christine. Happy New Year Cody from PTC, GA.
Im 35 years old and I've never heard of this movie until today Oct 27th 2022. I just watched it today and I loved it.
I have a johnny lightning collector's item with the will darnell's garage display I got it at the auto show at the ix center in march 2020 haven't look for the DVD yet but I am sure I would look for it.
that score scared the shit outta me as a kid!!! Always looked both ways on city streets ,expecting here that music.
+Okie Jewels Awesome glad you enjoy the channel. I love the hell out of Christine!
I am just about to turn 58, & this is my all time favorite movie. I have watched it at least 25 times. it never gets old & the car could not be sexier. great review
Awesome review man! Probably my favorite Stephen king horror adaptation film. If I ever win the lottery I'm buying that damn car!
+Jason Hamilton Thanks man. It's a very close second to Pet Sematary for me. I'd love to own a Fury!
Cody Leach bro if I ever get to buy that damn car I'll drive it down to Georgia and get you and Lee and go to a horror film viewing in it!
+Jason Hamilton I'd drop everything in a heartbeat! Lol
They change it because they wanted to keep it mysterious
Definitely my favorite car movie, another part of the book is Darnell's death 💀 much better than getting crushed up against Christine's Steering wheel and Really!!!! Ya going to be able to sit in a burned up car lol 😂 but I still love ❤️ the movie 🎥
I saw this for the first time last month and I was highly impressed with the film. Don't know what took me so long to watch the movie but better late than never I suppose
+Locarbmonster Absolutely better late than never. I've discovered so many classics since joining RUclips that I regret not watching sooner.
Same here bro, so many classics I've watched because of the tube and some I still need to check out
It never ends. haha Feels like endless homework thats awesome to chip away at.
LOL that's definitely one way to look at it
I'm 37 and have recently just watched it but had never even heard of it. I discovered it by chance after reading about it on someone's comment relating to James Dean's allegedly cursed car. It's a fairly good film and I'm now a fan of Christine and other Plymouths!
One of My favorite horror flicks because of the numerous motifs and amazing soundtrack. Timeless!!!
Hey Cody I just found your channel and I’m obsessed. Please review The Descent 1 and 2 and Thirteen Ghosts if you haven’t already
ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite movies of all time......period ....I'm a car guy, been in racing my whole life, built my first car in the driveway....out of spare parts.....so....I can relate to Arnies love for Christine
Great to hear someone give some love and appreciation for this film. Always loved it.
I watched this movie muiltple of times as a kid. Definitely one of the best Stephen King adaptations
The reason the original owner was cut because that dynamic was put in a american werewolf in London did that and the filmmakers cut it.
This is one of fav movies. I named my black cat Christine.
Get her a fire engine red collar with chrome/stainless steel decorations and it'll complete the connection, haha
I own the score of this film on vinyl. That’s how much I love the music of this film.
Your review finally convinced me to check this one out
I read the books this summer, and I forgot about this movie, because I Sorret on TV, but they cut a lot out of it when I Sorret on TV, so I thought it was loved the book and thought it was really creepy. I bring that up, because I hear you on that one negative of the movie. After reading the book, I rewatch the movie and I loved it!
I think I’ve seen this when I was younger is there a scene where a guy and the car go through a wall and he’s flung forward
Yes
It’s a great movie, I grew up watching this film too. Only thing that bothers me is how Moochie and Buddy get killed. I mean come on Moochie could have just jumped onto the bonnet of Christine to save himself getting crushed and cut in half. And Buddy, why the f**k is he just running in a straight line 😂
"We'll show those shitters what we can do. ...Okay, show me." When Christine's headlights come on...goosebumps.
I thought the way that the movie showed Arnie breaking bad was truly incredible. I also loved pretty much everything else about the movie. Even though I think the ending could have been a little better
A 9.9/10
The fact that The Thing was such a Bomb back on release. Blows my mind and will forever , shows that even back then people dint know good when in their face
I agree, I wonder why Robert Blossoms (George LeBay) wasn’t cast as his brother the owner of Christine. He was a great actor. First saw him in Escape from Alcatraz.
