I would like to say something thing about the Professor and his team at Tolarian Community College.
My order went wrong because of something I did and due to moving and address changes. However, his team and him made sure I still got my academic. And I'm forever grateful for them helping me out when it was my own fault and they really didn't have to. That is a lot of integrity and his commitment to us as his fans and supporters.
Please go and buy this deck box if you can. It is wonderful and everyone deserves a piece of Tolarian Community College History.

The Academic has been my go-to case for limited events. I store my land base and sleeves up top, the deck itself in the first drawer, sideboard and tokens in the bottom drawer, and life tracker and dice above the drawers. It's literally perfect!
Been using my Academic at FNM every week since I got it. Carries everything I need for the night: sleeves, pre-sleeved basics, dice, tokens, and a Commander/Canadian Highlander deck for after the draft. Fantastic deck box.
For anyone looking for something to carry it that isn't too bulky, I recommend shopping for camera bags. They are padded, smaller dimensions, minimal bulk, and the straps meant to hold a tri-pod work great for holding a playmat tube.
I’ve never played Magic, and might never, but I was blown away by this deck box. I ended up getting some for my Yu-Gi-Oh decks during the kickstarter campaign.

I am very new to Magic. The Prof has been my sherpa along this learning journey. I have to say, nobody has quite earned my trust and made me value their input on a subject more than him. With the absolute money pit this hobby can be, the Professor is truly doing the Lord's work, and I just want to say.. Thank you Prof. I just bought the teal/pink box.

Thank god. Someone broke into my work apartment where i and a coworker were storing all our cards, and we got cleared out, including our colective 4 academics. Time to get some new ones

@shmerelize thanks. It really is demoralizing. We ended up finding the guy who did it, but it looks like he destroyed a lot of the property so that he wouldn't be caught with so much of it. This was also months ago, and the guy got locked up in prison in the meantime, so trying him for our case has been put on the back burner. It all kind of sucks
I purchased one today at my local game store! I'm just getting back into Magic for the first time since around 1999 after learning about commander through your channel and I've become obsessed. Still haven't found a game to play in yet but be sure I'll be ready when I do! Thanks Prof for getting me back into this amazing game!

Im so happy im going to be able to get an Academic at my LGS. Money was tight during the KS but now i can both support TCC and my FLGS. The love the black with purple interior and glad thats gonna be available
I am sad that there is no Black/Red version of 266 version. ( or even 133), but perhaps the stealth version scratches my itch. Awesome to see Prof having time of his life, for a product he made with love.
I love mine for pre-releases! I put my main deck and extra sleeves in the main compartment, my dice in the top tray, on-color sideboard in the middle tray, and off-color sideboard in the bottom tray. It’s works great!
This looks amazing for carrying and organizing everything for draft and sealed events. Plenty of room for sleeves, lands, tokens, dice, and whatever cards you get.

I bought 3 Academics and 2 of the gorgeous gemstone D20s during your Kickstarter. They've rendered all my other decks boxes completely obsolete.
Nothing works better for weekly Commander nights, prereleases, and draft events. Tokens, dice, lands, dry erase cards, & a marker all travel together now in a single, beautiful package.
Bringing these to market and selling through local game stores is a win for everyone. I hope you sell a bazillion more.
I use my académic as a draft box. Its perfect it can old the lands the tokens the dice, the sleeves and the cards i did not put in the draft deck.
That's a great use for it!
He thought of everything. There are tons of design choices. Little touches that make this the best deckbbox I've seen. I definitely will be getting one.

I’ll be picking up a 266XL to go with my 133XL now! I love Gamegenic, ever since I bought their Stronghold XL a few years back. Still very pleased with you choosing them as your partners for the Academic.
I got 2 Academics from the Kickstarter campaign, and I am unquestionably going to get that green & black beauty too!
I was originally looking at Gamegenic's Stronghold to carry my two BG3 decks with me at a local con later this year, but I think I'll be grabbing an Academic instead not only because of the versatility, but because I can have my two copies of commnders, _Astarion, the Decadent_ & _Karlach, Fury of Avernus_ partnered with _Raised by Giants_ , separate for their respective voice actors to sign. I know that getting the cards signed will decrease their value, but it'll mean a lot to me.

Congrats, Professor! I saw this video, and had to have the green and black box. It just arrived today, and your video didn't do it justice. It's a stunning deckbox! It now sits on my shelf alongside my purple, black, and gold one from the Kickstarter.

I love Gamegenic! I asked for my second one for Christmas with a custom Phyrexian Atlas mat and got both! I just got back into Magic within the last year, so I’m excited to see I can buy it!

And coming from someone who backed the Kickstarter, I can confirm this deck box is absolutely worth it! I *adore* how this can be used for pretty much anything and have yet to find a single thing to complain about! This is literally the best deck box I have seen anywhere. If you’re in need of a new deck box, you can’t go wrong with the Academic!
I can't wait to get this I wanted this when I first saw the Kickstarter video but sadly I started playing magic after it ended and was super sad. Now next time I go to a store I'm grabbing that pink and teal one if my stores have it which they might not sadly.
EDIT: yep the only 2 game stores near me don't carry them. God damn it :(
Edit 2: I was so lucky to have a good friend in New York find a store that happens to ship items and now I'm sitting here with my Academic 133 + XL I'm so happy I finally got this after what 2 years of hoping one day I could buy it after finding this channel when I just got into magic and after seeing the Kickstarter video and that it had ended. 10/10 love this.

I jumped on the Kickstarter as soon as I heard about it and ordered 4 different color schemes plus their matching accessories. I absolutely love them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that's looking for a commander deck box that can hold a bunch of tokens and dice! :D

it’s awesome that more people will be able to get this deck box for themselves. i actually wasn’t able to support the kickstarter myself but my uncle did and gave it to me last Christmas and i’ve been in love with it ever since. i especially love that it has space for cards in top loaders so i don’t have to put my more valuable commanders i top loaded in my bag 😂

I have the black and purple for my Magic prerelease and my teal and pink for Lorcana decks. Every time im at Lorcana events i get asked about it and now I'm stoked I can tell them they are able to buy them as well! Amazing job Professor!

I bought the grey-red academic 133xl from the kick starter and was not disappointed. I treasure the deck box and the incredible craftsmanship that went into it. My Henzie deck has never been as safe as it is now thanks to the Academic! Thanks prof!

I love mine, it's perfect for holding my 50+10 double sleeved Battle Spirits Saga deck and I have a smaller JP BS deck in the small compartments and the dice tray is nice for holding my cores and dice. It works really well with the sizemorph dividers (I use 2)

Of all the deck boxes I have ever seen and tried. This is the best. Congratulations Professor!
There is one thing that comes to every game of Magic I play now, and it’s my Academic deck box. I keep my favorite commander deck in the main compartment, dice and the TCC life counter in the top compartment, infinitokens and a marker in the top removable compartment, and the rest of my tokens in the bottom removable compartment. This box is a constant companion sitting next to me at the gaming table.

So happy for you, Prof. It truly is a great product for enthusiasts. I’ve made great use of my multiple Academics since the kickstarter: not just for Mtg and Flesh and Blood, but also for non-TCGs like Star Realms, where I put my favorite expansion packs in each of the trays.
I just got back into magic after 4 years away, and I have always loved your videos. I greatly look forward to being able to buy this for my commander decks.

I work at an LGS in Largo Florida that just recently opened up and I convinced the owner to sell The Academic and it’s been our #1 selling deck box ever!!! We can’t seem to keep them in stock at all. If we were able to get more from GameGenic we’d be able to sell them massively down here. We all want them!

I was a part of the Kickstarter since day one, I missed a few things I wanted but I got 95% of everything else and these deck boxes are the best ever made! I am just now finding out your mass producing I a bigger market and I love that the one color box I missed from the kickstarter is the one coming to market! You can count me in to pick up at least 2 more 133+ boxes! But until then I’ll cherish the ones I have ❤️
Ive been so jealous of my friend who got in on the kickstarter and bought an academic box. We were playing Yugioh and I didn’t even know about the channel at the time. I already have a Gamegenic hive, but there are so many small improvements in this particular product. I can’t wait to get my own academic box for my new commander decks now :)

I've loved mine ever since I got it with the Kickstarter!! My perfect companion for commander nights! Ive got my dice, my multitude of tokens, my favorite commander deck all in one spot!! Super nice to have on the table and most importantly still looks brand new!!

I bought one and have been showing it off to my friends. It's so wonderfully amazing and I didn't even know about the tokens that came with it. I will always recommend this to others and may purchase another one.
I picked up my Academic today to use as my draft kit, and it has literally everything I need! It can hold my pre-sleeved lands (because why have fun full art lands if I never get to show them off?), my limited deck, all of my dice and tokens, and even my sideboard in one of the drawers! Thank you so much for making it, and I can’t wait to use it at FNM for years to come. It performed beautifully tonight, and I love how I can put my lands into the boulder I was using before and throw in my commander deck’s boulder if I’m going to play EDH. In short, it’s the perfect grab and go box, and I adore it with all my heart
I am glad to have been a backer for the early release of this wonderful deck box. I use it at least once a week to ferry my commander deck to our games and I wish for nothing else. As someone who has a passion for functional design, this thing is BRILLIANT! Those grooves on the inside bottom openings to be able to grab under the cards themselves is bigger than people might realize. I actually missed the Kickstarter, but managed to snag a slightly used one on the secondary market. I'm gonna need at least one more.

Both my fiancée and I are really happy with our Academic deck boxes. Both of ours have two Commoner decks for Flesh & Blood in the drawers, and two Boulders with a Yugioh and Battle Spirits Saga deck in the main compartment. We're both really happy these are coming to local card shops, because so many family members and friends ask where to get one, and now we can point to where now. Might get a second for each of us. :D
