I interviewed Vicky McClure years back and always thought her a promising actress. Nice to see her talents coupled with those of Ian Miller, an exceptional animator.
I liked this, but I can't help but feel that the live action would have worked better if it had some animation rotoscoped into the background or something.
The raven himself is hoarse That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan Under my battlements. Come, you spirits That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full Of direst cruelty. Make thick my blood. Stop up the access and passage to remorse, That no compunctious visitings of nature Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between The effect and it! Come to my woman’s breasts, And take my milk for gall, you murd'ring ministers, Wherever in your sightless substances You wait on nature’s mischief. Come, thick night, And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell, That my keen knife see not the wound it makes, Nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark To cry “Hold, hold!”
Both parts of this video were really good. The voice, the acting and the animation were all stellar. But the combination of those three in one video hasn't been done that well. The editing could've been better.
Love your work mate, but the animation part just doesn't seem to mix well with the live action scenes, they are two well produced things on their own but they don't do very well together, It just feels too out of place.
"no u" Fine retort, I am surely in the presence of the God Emperor of Mankind. Alas, when you post subjective opinions, don't expect everyone to have the same views as you do. So accept criticism, embrace it, don't just take the easy way out. Hell, I could go into detail how the animation slowly becomes more and more grotesque in conjunction with the dialogue in a perfect manner, but I am curious as to what kind of animation you would think would fit this, claymation? CGI? do tell.
+OfLanceTheLonginus Did you deserve any other reply? It's not like you provided an insightful argumment for me to agree or disagree to. You could have politely shared your point of view but instead you immaturely chose to question my taste without even explaining why I was "wrong" as if it were obvious. Then you ironically claimed that I am agaist other opinios different than mine, for some reason, even though you are the one who got pissy for someone having a different opinion as you do, absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. You set the tone of this conversation, not me. As for the video though, The style of the animation feels too cartoony, simple shaded and stands out too much from the realism of the live action scenes. Stop motion could indeed be a better candidate due to it already being based on realistic illumination, though an animation based on more traditional methods that leave a sort of texture. something more dirty like chalk and not just solid colors would do even better. Not forgetting that not having an animated sequence at all would also be an option.
good one eddy
Thanks...

Evil dead plus shakespeare? Nice!
I liked this, but I can't help but feel that the live action would have worked better if it had some animation rotoscoped into the background or something.

I am so curious to know what this animation means and signifies..
So will this be a movie?
Whoa...
Both parts of this video were really good. The voice, the acting and the animation were all stellar. But the combination of those three in one video hasn't been done that well. The editing could've been better.
Ljubisa Metikos the transition was a little too sudden I feel. It may have been better if they faded it in first.
Neat-o.
Does anyone know what kind of program might be used to make this?
What the hell was up with the changing video quality?
The credits take up half the video😂
What was this and could someone explain this to me ( I know what Macbeth is I just didn’t understand this)
D33P FR33Z3
Macbeth is a play written by Shakespeare. I can't really tell you anything else because I haven't read it yet.
Alyssa Hansen I know that. I mean that I don’t see the resemblance to this and the original.
D33P FR33Z3
Well then, my apologies, I can't help you.
how can i get in contact with Ian Miller
1:39
What was that all about?
Reminded me of Amy of Darkness, for some reason. 🤔
10/10
God. Damn.

I see why you would say that but I think it worked out fine
+Danarogon
Maybe you just lack taste.
+OfLanceTheLonginus Well maybe you lack taste yourself as well, no? I merely shared my thoughts about the video, no need to get defensive.
