Thanks very much for watching, Liverpool is a really nice show to attend. We filmed a lot more than we could show here so there will be another video which will be all the traders we couldn't feature otherwise it would be a two hour video! All the best Rick
OK WOW you are in Liverpool WOW!!! The Home of Queen lol!!!!! You all sure have picked up some nice looking Wagons!!! Nice Layout too. I was wondering do you ever have someone say no to video taping ?. I do like the one that was dumping the coal !!! You know you would think by being were you are you would see some of the Beatles Trains... O well right lol!!! BIG Battle Ship too:). It is wild to see so much of them in box. Shee did say no right a way to the Painting lol!!!! So Good Night to Liverpool great video Rick take care!!!
Hi Brad, we have only had 1 person say no to filming and that was when we first started out. We are a familiar site at the shows and most traders are happy to chat with us. The painting was a definite no trust me lol. The coal tipper was great wasn't it and the battleship wow! All the best Rick.
It sure was some show. I bet it dose Inspire you to think about your Layout :). Great that you have no problems in filming :). Keep up the good work and see you later Rick!!!!!
Grand video, all of that. I really loved the Newbury Mill layout especially, but that battleship/cruiser model is what really has me re-watching that part of the video. All else has been overshadowed, even those amazing blue Pullman's you found. Mind you, I love seeing which models grab the eyes and hearing about them, but big warship... really big warship. Sadly, it wouldn't fit in the tub, and I got rid of my pool years ago.
Thanks very much Anthony, the Bismarck was Germany's most famous battleship of ww2. Pretty much sank on its first venture out to see by the Royal Navy in 1941 in revenge for it's sinking our prized battleship The Hood. All the best Rick.
Nice show again, seem to be a lot of layouts. I've got real respect for those clubs and individuals who transport their layout modules to these shows, for everyone to enjoy. Staring by loading everything at home, drive to the event, put everything together, do the show, breaking up everything again , put everything back in transport, drive home and unload, store or build it up again at home. Seems to be some nice bargains again, even Pauline knows at what seller she needs to go for the candy🤣 And also Rick's attempts to decorate the launch is still there, but unfortunately without succes, but I admire his determination😜 Great video again, keep up the good work… Cheers, Danny
Hi Danny, it's certainly impressive watching how quickly everything gets packed away. I caught a bit of this last week and I might include it in Sunday's video. Ah Sawyers Models purveyors of cakes and sweets! Thanks for watching Rick
What a great venue! I've never been but am really pleased you shared the experience with us. I'm going to look to see if you called in to Leigh on your way
Hello Rick and Pauline another enjoyable Sunday morning video, the ships you showed us were incredibly detailed. I dont blame you buying the hopper im a massive Cadburys fan lol
What great looking layouts, I so much want to get my layout going again, stalled at the moment as baseboards needed. As usual I am so envious of the work others have done. I don’t normally like American layouts , but the Amtrak one was worth seeing. It’s a shame that N Gauge ones often have their trains running too fast. What great bargains and super discounts. When I win the lottery ( big time) I will be buying loads . But until then I will have to dream. Lol. Great video, glad Bobby had a day out even if he was more interested in escaping, lol . Have a great week. Cheers for brightening up my Sunday morning. 🥳🥳🤪
Thanks for watching Paul I'm sure you will get it going at some point. I'm in the same position as you really albeit sorting the track plan out. All the best Rick
I'm amazed the orange Lima DMU is still there... I was corrected that it's Strathclyde I think, but still rare. Another rip roaring enjoyable exhibition rave, thanks Rick and Pauline... ATB, Andy.
Hi there Excellent video as always👍. Can I just point out where Pauline mentioned the overhead pantograph on the 71, it had a different purpose on these. Taken from wiki: Power supply Edit Power collection was from a 3rd rail at 650V DC (Eastern & Central sections) or 750V DC (Western section) and control was by flywheel booster, as in British Rail Class 70. In some yards (notably Hither Green, South East London and Snowdown colliery near Dover) overhead wiring energised to 650V DC was used. This overhead collection method was only employed where it was deemed too dangerous to have an electrified third rail, with staff constantly at ground level reaching between vehicles to couple and uncouple trains. There is more on it but essentially that is the crux of it. I have two 71s and they are fantastically smooth with the big flywheels inside.
3:10 That looks like a Lima Nova transitional one with the flush windows, or did the UK get the flush windows vehicles earlier 7:11 That one (with euro couplers) is now sold as Jouef, Lima also fitted some UK vehicles with euro couplers in starter sets to get a wider range of short vehicles 25L27 How many hours did that model take to build already? 34:59 under the table bargain area...
Hi Ivo, thanks for the info on the Lima Nova I will do some research on that. They are Joef are they ok cheers. A few bargains indeed. Thanks for watching Rick.
Amtrak’s General Electric-built P32-8WHs, like the one appears around the 42-minute mark in your video are known as “Pepsi Cans” thanks to their livery.
The lima Blue packaging is the latest packaging, from the mid 90's to the 2000's the red packaging is 1986-1990 the silver wit the red boarder is 1990-1993 thereabouts and the silver with the red white and blue boarder is 80-85 thereabouts
This was the best thing i watched on the telly all day. Thanks as always for sharing it.
Thanks very much Andrew
Thanks Andrew, this comment has just popped up!

Another great video my husband would have had deltic and and the oxo wagon which we dont see when we go to shows lol
Hi Caroline, lots of great models for sale. I'm surprised you haven't seen many Deltics as they are quite common. Thanks for watching Rick.
Yes recently we havent we got the ones we got off ebay
I love the tinplate!
It’s great waking up to your vids on the weekend 😊 the Hornby tin layout looked like it was a permanent setup at the church.
Thanks for watching, I can only imagine how much the tip plate layout tipps the scales at. All the best Rick

Hi Deano, that Bismarck model was amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress made next year. Can't beat Cadburys. All the best Rick

I do like the Airfix 31 despite its flaws. Thanks for watching Rick
Yes sir

Thanks Arthur
47 484 was painted green in the 80s. She's still with us today in a sorry state awaiting restoration.
Is she now, I hope they get her back to her best. Cheers Rick
Why do the tin plate and Dublo layouts always run their trains so fast?
I think they were designed to be run fast, prototypical speeds were not the order of the day when these were built. All the best Rick.
Someone must have bought the Allsopps, else I would have snapped it up! But I got a lot of the Mainline tankers. Sorry We missed you.
Hi Tim, never mind plenty more out there. All the best Rick
Can i ask what breed is the dog? Looks so cute
