Very useful. I have a new Kia Niro EV ( my second one) and you’ve taken most of the pain of setup away.
It seems the engineer who design the “Infomatics” have no priority as to what is important.
The menu for settings lists last : Drive settings, Radio/ Media/ Maps.
or what a new car owner needs to set before they drive the new car home.
The variety of graphics is nice but low on my list. I moved the most useful controls to the first page and use CarPlay.
I like to play a game with myself as to how much range I can get on a charge ( though rated at 253, I never get less than 290).
In that I have solar panels to supply my Level 2 charger the car has no energy cost unless I’m using a public charger ( yes, the solar system cost something, but it powers my whole house).
I like to feel I’m doing my part to lower energy use.
If you are paying at a public charger ( you live somewhere where home charging is not possible), then lowering the frequency of charging matters.
Electricity is cheap. $14 for 300 miles of range beats gasoline costs.
So thank you for making my initial days with my new car easy.
As to how do I achieve these great ranges? I watched dozens of You Tube videos before I bought my first EV. Remember these words “Maximum Regenerative Brakes.”

Very useful thanks. Would have been helpful to see what buttons you were pressing on the steering wheel to scroll through all the options on the display behind the steering wheel. I still can’t fathom what does what on my Niro EV!

That is very interesting. I have some questions regarding this profile option. Does it save all settings of a chosen user like mirrors or seats only? Will this also work in other models with electric memory seats, like the 2025 Ceed GT Line?
