    useful video , is there no longer a speed limiter option available whereby you set the speed and the vehicle will not let you go over that speed ?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  2 месяца назад

      Yes, there's a speed limit assist that you can set through the infotainment system under Driver Assistance --> Speed Limit. This video covers off that screen --> ruclips.net/video/4DMrtkiJ3EA/видео.html

    thanks. would you be able to give a quick tour of the lower level 12.3 gauge clusters as well with the static digital speedo on the left and tach on the right? wondering what "functionality" you lose other that the blind spot view monitor. do you still get nav directions, etc in the center area the same as this one?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  2 года назад

      Great idea Brad! I'll add that to the list.
      You wouldn't get nav in the screen on the base cluster. If you check out this video on the Telluride it would be close to this feature set (I talk pretty fast in it haha):

    I got the same model, I liked the video because it’s explaining a lot of my questions lol. But what does the coffee mean and also it says attention level? Can it be removed? Thanks

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  2 года назад +2

      Thanks Eder! Hah I briefly skim by the coffee and attention level.. but in a nutshell if you veer into another lane too many times without signalling it counts as a strike for the attention marker. Once you've had too many strikes in a short time, you'll get a notification to take a break from driving

      Good question... Testing it out in the UK to see how people like it? I tend to like the traditional shifters over the dial

    • @neeeeeeeeeeeeem

      @@CarsWithSteve No, only smart or normal mode. i checked the owner's manual and it says that the wheel gets more stiff with faster speed but I'd really like to get rid of that option as I'm used to driving with one hand.

      @CarsWithSteve  Месяц назад

      Outside of selecting different drive modes there's no way to just change the stiffness of the steering wheel alone unfortunately

    Why do you guys in the States have that old fashioned automatic gear change selector in Europe and here in England we have a round gear selector ? Have a look at Kia Sportage in the U.K. the instrument cluster is also a much better design ?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  8 месяцев назад

      Good question.. random choice from Kia to see how well it's received? A few other manufacturers here have moved from the traditional shifter to the dial selector instead. I'm guessing it's probably a cheaper part

    Is there a way to connect the voice command to an iPhone in the 2022 sportage, I can accept calls but not make them, it says I have to connect to CarPlay, but the only way is via a cord, it’s a top of the line G line

    • @CarsWithSteve

      If you do a short press on the steering wheel voice command prompt it will activate the vehicle assistant but a long press and hold will activate Siri/Google Assistant if you're hooked up over bluetooth or CarPlay/Android Auto

    I have gone back and forth with the Kia dealer since buying my wife a 2023 Telluride on 28 April. They explained the adaptive cruise control. I stayed that I’ll be driving the vehicle on trips to Georgia every other Friday and Sunday (from Orlando). I don’t want the adaptive system at all. If you’ve ever driven on I-75 you understand. The salesman and manager at Wesley Chapel Kia both states that the adaptive cruise could be turned off in favor or “normal” cruise. NOPE! Also went to Jenkins Kia and spoke with a service tech, he had no clue. The “product trainer” that the manager spoke with gave him the instructions for the 2019-2022 Tellurides. So buyers beware!! No, you do not have regular cruise control.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  Год назад +1

      Yeah, unfortunately no way to turn off the Smart Cruise Control.. closest you could get would be to set it up with a smallest possible distance between you and the car in front of you. Previous models had a way to make the switch so it's odd Kia didn't follow that through to 2023.
      Thanks for pointing this out though for people who are looking for trying to switch to traditional cruise

    • @jandeknatel4770

      We have a Sapphire Blue EX and LOVE it! 45-47MPG not AWD. Your vids are very well done! Only negative point about this Kia is they offer LED lighting at various points. But then cheapened out for turn signal and corner brake lights!!! Interior lights are not a deal breaker, but come on Kia. Maybe Kia will offer some downloads/upgrades soon to offer dash upgrades like or similar to higher trim levels??
