It’s so surreal seeing all of these old iPhones again. They were so small. So simple. Big additions at the time, yet so simple and common sense now days.
My first iPhone was the 3GS and I was just one of only a handful of students on campus that had one! Boy was I proud of that beautiful thing! Than the 4S followed (the last iPhone under Steve Jobs influence) which I think was the most beautiful design the iPhone ever had! I never had a case for it and I never dropped it (but I had an insurance for its glass front and back!). I always sticked to the S models as they smoothed out the problems of each new iPhone generation (remember antenna gate of the iPhone 4 or bend gate of the iPhone 6?!). The 5S followed and then the 6S which I put in a case because it was so slippery. It was my first iPhone which was not black or blackish but some silver color (there was no other real choice, it didn’t came in black!). Then the iPhones got so ridiculously big that I hold on to my 6S for 3 years instead of the usual 2. But I had to give in eventually so I got the huge XR. I got used to it and because I hated the multicamera design of the following models, I hold on to that heavy paddle for another 3 years! When I saw the mini the first time I laughed out loud because of it’s size but then remembered that I had smaller phones before and they were great. So I got the 13 mini and the very first time I went for color and got the Product Red! I still have that phone to this day and I love it! I wish the 17 series will bring back the iPhone mini, maybe even in a Pro version. I would buy that in a nanosecond! I believe that Steve Jobs would like the mini as well. 🥹 Thank you Apple for all those memories and great moments with my beloved iPhones! You could cut those heavy price tags though (it’s getting somewhat ridiculous here in Europe!).🤪🔫

The real change that Tim Cook did was in the iPhone X. Currently there is no innovation, but we will see soon iPhone 20. Let’s see If it will be a big change too.
