His case worker actually adopted another one of her clients from foster care. Families kept returning him like a defective toy or a piece of clothing that didn't fit. She dropped him as a client and adopted him the next day so this woman has a huge heart of gold and is truly amazing
gerta j amen look at how much better these children are for having forever parents. For having real parents someone they can call Mom and Dad and count on. For the past couple years I've been thinking about for the past couple years I've been thinking about taking on Foster Care children, these children Me Love these children need love and stability. So thrilled they got it.. these are very special parents that these are very special parents that adopted these children. This this it is the ultimate and feel good there are so many more children that need more children that need this. I think I'm going to finally get the ball rolling.
It's so ridiculous how much it costs and how long it takes to adopt. More people would do it if the process wasn't so long and if it wasn't so expensive.
The only problem with fostering to adopt is that you have to be able to accept the reality that you the kid you wanted to adopt might be removed from your home and placed back with an abusive family. I don't think that should deter the thick skinned among us from doing it, though. It's a worthy venture and I commend those that really do it for the kids.
my problem is why do you people from America adopt from International but can't adopt kids from America. there's a lot of kids in foster care here in America it sounds to me some of your priorities are backwards
I myself was adopted from Haiti with my 2 younger sisters. My parents later adopted and African American girl.So they adopted 4 black girls 3 from Haiti and 1 American girl. Thank you to people who adopt black children.
My nephew was adopted (so was my dad!) and I can't imagine life now without his giggle. It is the best chuckle of all 9 of my nieces and nephews. He's a happy little man!
+MsTomas086 A lot of Haitian children were illegally taken for adoption. I hope your adoption and that of your sisters wasn't one of them. I can't say that I am too happy about white people adopting black children. It screams of white saviour syndrome. At least when black people adopt black children, the adoptees get to control who knows that they are adopted. With parents of a different race, it's obvious to anyone... I do hope your adopted life was good. I'm glad that you had your sisters at least. :)
I have two adopted brothers, same mom, different fathers, and I love them to death. Thank you to people who adopt kids in need. Sending love and prayers to you all.
I know it's not the same, but such stories really warm my heart. This summer I stayed in France for a month with my host family and we got so close, they literally called me and my roommate their kids. We formed such a connection and I miss them so much already, I call them both Mom and Dad. Although I love my real parents there's something so powerful about another family caring and loving you unconditionally even though your not their own.
My family wouldn't be complete without adoption. It's such a beautiful thing. I wish all the kids in need of a loving family find their forever homes! Brings me much joy to see these stories, but broke my heart to think of those kids who haven't been adopted yet.
I think the last adoption is my favorite story, because a love of a father is something I didn't grow up with. Three other siblings and a single mother trying to go to school and work at the same time look after all of us. Knowing a little of military life but never moved our father was never around. He was a P.O.W. and had P.T.S. from the Korean war. I remember asking where daddy was a lot as a little girl with my twin sister. Our older brother and sister worked as teenagers and and took care of us. I dreamed of having a dad like this man to bring us all up strong and happy full of laughter and joy. This is a dream come true for these boy's and I'm so happy for them.
Omg I can't stop crying. I'm such a big baby. This is so beautiful! Anyone else notice how the cops two adopted sons look just like him? "As family we may not have it all together, but together we have it all" . 👌👌👌 Best ending quote ever!
I'm adopted, have been since a baby, I wish all adoptees well and hope they find a loving family as I did. I'm older now and my mum and dad are dead but I think about them every day, it hurts but I have such memories. And thank you for adopting these amazing children that deserve much love ❤️
I was in the same foster home for eight years and I was adopted at the age of eight! I was never told that I was their foster kid and I never knew that I had rights as a foster kid! The day I was adopted, they told me, and I didn’t understand at the time, but as I got older, I understood what it meant to be adopted! They raised me, fed me and loved me!
I’m almost 17 years old and I have wanted to adopt ever since I was a little girl and saw that children were alone and didn’t get to have a childhood. I absolutely cannot wait to adopt. I want to adopt two, one from Asia and one from Africa.
I Love how all the families were happy and excited. I am 25yrs old, have a degree, a good job and I am single. I don't see myself in a relationship. A while ago I talked to my family about me adopting a baby and raising it on my own. I was so disappointed with their reaction. They said they will never be able to love a child who isn't my own blood. Has anybody here ever adopted? How does it work? I mean is it like having own child? I mean the maternal love. I don't want to adopt a baby and then don't feel any attachment towards the baby. That would be unfair. Please advice me.
Mimi Damur I'm so sorry to hear that about your family, but if you choose to adopt I'm more than positive they'll come around. As far as adoption,I have not adopted YET but really want to in the future. Good luck and maybe someone else has the answers you need😊💜💚
Mimi Damur thats really unfair and selfish to you that they said. They should be supportive. I think you will bond with your baby. I mean its a baby. Thats strong of you to want to give a baby a better home..
Mimi Damur You sound like a woman with a beautiful heart. I think that when they hand you your baby, the one you have worked so hard for, your amazing heart will melt. You have so much love to give. Don't let others squash your dreams.
I'm sorry you had that response from your family. For many years I kept hoping to get married. When I was in my 20's, I thought "well, I still have plenty of time." Soon I was in my late 30's then 40's and 50's and never married. In the back of my mind, I thought I'd like to adopt but never did. I took in a child at 50 who, after a year, was returned to her birth mother. I've now turned 60, and one of the great regrets of my life is that I didn't adopt. Although, I have nephews, and nieces, I don't have anyone to look after me when I become elderly. Nonetheless, just recently I signed up to be a volunteer advocate for children in foster care. I can't wait to get started. I spent my adult life as a hotshot career woman, but I had no one to come home to with the exception of a boyfriend here and there. I've truly learned that family, and helping others, is the most important thing that makes life worthwhile. So, yes, go ahead, if you're ready, and adopt a baby or child.
As someone who came from a horrendously abusive family, with a mother that hated me enough to make attempts on my life, seeing these stories makes me heart so full with love. Everyone deserves to feel wanted and loved. To be held with the utmost care and the truest adoration. From my broken heart, newly forged, to yours; may you be loved and cherished and know that in this great wode world, there is someone who wants you, needs you, admires and cares about you. May love find you wherever you may go in life.
This touched my heart about 3 years ago I met my now husband we went out on our first date .He had 2 months twins boys ( their mom abandoned them at the hospital ) we continue to date and as time went by We became a little family right about when the boys turned 1, my husband, sat me down and told it’s not late to go and live my life I’m 25 this not what you sign up for I looked at him and I said i can’t go who going tucked them at night , who going to give them siblings, who going help with ladies not you of course my boys need their mama .3 years later my boys are 3 I’m expecting a baby girl in February I adopted the boys and got married to the only I want to be with
As someone who is about have kids soon, this brings more hope to us. I cant wait to share my journey with my partner of our adoption journey. Thank you for these wonderful stories again. Its great that Tristans's mom did all she could to get her son home! This shows the child that his mom wanted him more than anything. Beautiful.
i am foster care and did now how some of them feel and i am about to get adopted and i am 10 my sibling told me this i started to cry i am now one of the happiest kids in the world i hope it happens to me!
#7 really got me in my feelings! Lol. Honestly though...it's SO very rare for an older child to be adopted. Therefore these kids are raised in the system and most age out of the system before ever having been adopted. That is tragic and must be terrifying when these kids age out after having have lived their entire childhood in a foster home and in and out of foster hokes. It just truly saddens me and it's something that should be talked about more often. So when I see someone who adopts an older child, it just lights me up! ♡♡♡
It's why I get so angry whenever I see people pretend that the foster sytem is full of babies and toddlers needing permanent new homes, or people thinking that they are helping a child in need by buying one from an adoption agency (after all, there's a reason that that costs anything while adopting from foster care costs nothing). So many older children in the foster system are in need, but they are not as cute as newborns or toddlers, have more visible baggage, have disabilities and/or traumas to deal with or are in sibling groups. The thing is that those are real children with real needs, so they are not as attractive for adoption as infants whose mothers only need a little support to keep them. It's a travesty. Who knows how many foster children that are all alone could have families by now if only people wouldn't be so ignorant?
I have a friend in foster care she is moving out of her foster family and going into a family with her new foster father who was in foster care and is now a lawyer and is showing her what she can do regardless of her past
Oh my goodness!!!! This just had me bawling!!!! Wow!!! Such amazing stories!!! I myself want to adopt so badly!!! I have a had the feeling for all of my life!!! I really hope that I get to be the mother of a child in need soon!!!
When I was a child me and my twin sister where in foster care together I think we were 2 years old and we had to go back to live with how are biological parents we were 4 years old we thought they were our parents we was told after that they wanted to adopters but it didn't happen I feel so sad I would love to have seen them again I love them so much I miss them now I'm 55 now I would just like to say thank you for adopting all those little children xxx😢😢😢😢😢😢👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
If my friend came up to me and said “this is my adopted baby” I would probably just be like “wait hold it up! Where did you get that like is it yours or is it like ahhhhh what’s happening right nooooooooww?!?!?!🤯”
I hope you will consider foster children first and foremost. They truly need homes. Don't let private adoption agencies deceive you, because newborn infants are not in need of new families. Older foster children, though, are. Very much so.
davion’s story made me cry, it’s so amazing that his social worker ended up adopting him!!
His case worker actually adopted another one of her clients from foster care. Families kept returning him like a defective toy or a piece of clothing that didn't fit. She dropped him as a client and adopted him the next day so this woman has a huge heart of gold and is truly amazing

It should be bloody free !!!
It's so ridiculous how much it costs and how long it takes to adopt. More people would do it if the process wasn't so long and if it wasn't so expensive.
BooksPajamasTea adoption out of America is almost, if not completely free.....if you are interested find out how you can foster or foster to adopt ❤️😊
I'm probably going to adopt when I get older (I have zero pain tolerance and pregnancy sounds awful)

Thank you. I have a coworker that is adopting a baby soon. Thank you for opening up your ♥ and home. May God bless you and your family.
The Mooneezies prayers for you ♥️♥️
I adopted a 4 month old baby in 2002 from Vietnam. She is 16 now - it was worth every struggle, every long wait, every everything.
Number 7
That short "speech" was so beautiful.
Who cares about skin color.
Just as long as you are in a living family.
The people who disliked must have been crying so they got confused

My family wouldn't be complete without adoption. It's such a beautiful thing. I wish all the kids in need of a loving family find their forever homes! Brings me much joy to see these stories, but broke my heart to think of those kids who haven't been adopted yet.

I think that last guy is to die for. Wow... beautiful stories. 😍❤️☺️
My heart. Tears. Joy. Also sadness for all the children left in the system.

Its great that Tristans's mom did all she could to get her son home! This shows the child that his mom wanted him more than anything. Beautiful.

I was adopted by my grandmother after 11 years of being left behind by my legit parents.
I can't thank her enough

Because most kids adopted in the US aren't from the US so the kids in the US get older and older and no one wants to adopt an older kid.
"Cop rescues two brothers"...made me cry. others were touching but last one broke the water dam 😭❤
I have a friend in foster care she is moving out of her foster family and going into a family with her new foster father who was in foster care and is now a lawyer and is showing her what she can do regardless of her past

I cried when I saw this video
Who's cutting onions😭
I really want to adopt some day 💯😍
I hope you will consider foster children first and foremost. They truly need homes. Don't let private adoption agencies deceive you, because newborn infants are not in need of new families. Older foster children, though, are. Very much so.
TheYasmineFlower i like you, thanks 😢 you don't get how much that means i was called too old at 4
Da feels, god! This is so cute!
tear jerker
All of them!
I’m not crying...
It's a good thing the girls are still young, if they were older, things might not be so good...
