However. under the Biden administration, the US has not only invested in renewable energy sources, but we're also pumping the most oil, not just in the history of the US, but in the history of the world. What needs to happen is for the US companies to be blocked from exporting oil and gas. Then we could just use our own oil supply. and prices should come down. I obviously have no idea where you live. or how big a house you have, or how big a family you have.or how careful you are with your electric use. I'm a single person living in a 2 bedroom apartment. I wear warm clothes in the winter so I can keep my heart turned down. and I don't turn on the AC until I really need to. I forget what the breaking point is, but for every year you were born after that they had one month longer you have to work. I just hit retirement age, but my wife has to work to 65 and 9 months, born in 1965. Somebody born in 1970 would have to work to 66 and 2 months. It just gets worse after that.

The inflation you're talking about has been a world wide problem since the world has bounced back from the pandemic. Under the Biden administration, the US has had the fastest recovery of any modern economy, and we've had the lowest inflation of the G20. US inflation is now down to just 3% a year. Grocery prices actually went down last month. Presidents don't control electric rates, that's up to your states utilities commission. Presidents also don't control gas prices, since that's an international commodity that's treated on commodities markets. However. under the Biden administration, the US has not only invested in renewable energy sources, but we're also pumping the most oil, not just in the history of the US, but in the history of the world. What needs to happen is for the US companies to be blocked from exporting oil and gas. Then we could just use our own oil supply. and prices should come down.
I obviously have no idea where you live. or how big a house you have, or how big a family you have.or how careful you are with your electric use. I'm a single person living in a 2 bedroom apartment. I wear warm clothes in the winter so I can keep my heart turned down. and I don't turn on the AC until I really need to. Of course my electric bill goes up in the winter, but it averages less than $75 a month.

I forget what the breaking point is, but for every year you were born after that they had one month longer you have to work. I just hit retirement age, but my wife has to work to 65 and 9 months, born in 1965. Somebody born in 1970 would have to work to 66 and 2 months. It just gets worse after that.
