I say Mr. Snowden is one of the best speakers I have heard, ever. I have never formed an opinion of him because he is not one to share much of himself.

I kinda flip flop on him like Ted Cruz did. On one side I think its patriotic, the other side makes me wonder why he fled to China and Russia making this seem much bigger than I'll probably ever know. Regardless he did brake laws. He was charged with the Espionage act and theft of government property. Kinda breaks into the whole vigilante thing, it's still a crime but a "good crime". Regardless, I do like majority of his views on government overreach. And end of the day, it'll never be my decision to make. I just know there's 10x more to the story that he isn't telling us.

I was told during my briefing on the day I applied for my clearance that if I were to leak any shred of classified information even if it was unintentional, I would not only lose my job but I would "never ever see the day of light ever again."

What a wise, articulate, admirable man Edward Snowden is. Every interview I listen to just makes him grow in my eyes. I think he should run for president in due time, but right now, I just think the American people should lobby for his safe return home and a presidential pardon, although I don't believe he is in need of one. He did what was right and I take my hat off to him for choosing right over personal freedom. Lovely interview. Thank you.

Kare more -- We know very little of "what he saw". He didn't release this information to the world. He passed the documents (evidence) to very professional and well-trusted journalists. He did what he felt was the least damaging thing to do, short of ignoring the situation, and taking no action at all.
The one thing that Snowden DID show the whole world was that he had a conscience. I can't help but think that our government officials should try to find theirs.
He stopped a program that was successfully stopping money and support from getting to bomb makers and terrorist groups. Yeah, big man.
