      Probably too convoluted to beginners though :( No matter how hard we try, it ends up being aimed at the intermediate Blender users it seems.

      Is this format of a breakdown rather than create-it-from-scratch useful, or would you prefer to watch lighting tutorials that take the scene with no lighting and then we add 1 light at a time together until it's done?

    Hey Gleb enjoying the Cinematic Course so far, in the asset zipfile, if I click on the blender file, nothing but a default cube shows up. The only way to bring the whole scene open with every asset was to append the blend file. But opening it this way I wasnt able to get the lightgroup nodes in compositing. Is there any way to open it directly?

    • @GlebAlexandrov
      @GlebAlexandrov  Год назад

      Thanks! If I understood you correctly, the .zip files have to be unpacked first.

  • @serjkostychev

    I downloaded the asset but cannot find how to turn off Worldlight, it contains Background & World Output nodes only and does not react to value changes or delete. Does the file contain some hidden collections or whatever it is?

    07:19 Hey Gleb, is there an advantage to use the EXR over the HDR format ?

    • @GlebAlexandrov
      @GlebAlexandrov  Год назад +1

      Better, more diverse compression algorithms? I need to dig deeper to be able to answer. Exr is the industry standard (oh, maybe also that HDR can't be multilayer?).

    Noooo! Not chromatic abberation! please spare my eyeballs, it hurts to look at. IMO Looks like i'm seeing double, out of focus, it strains my eyes no joke, and ruins pictures. I hope it falls out of favour like the good old overused mindlessly used lensflare.

    • @GlebAlexandrov
      @GlebAlexandrov  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah I know what you mean :) It's so close to being a defocus type of effect so if overused, it could look REALLY weird indeed.
