    Hi, a little late but i stumbled across one I never new just the other day. There are two shoe racks in the base game: Ladies and men's. When you click on them you have three options: allow shoes indoors, wear slippers indoors or remove shoes indoors. If you choose 'wear slippers indoors' your sims will automatically change to slippers when the enter the house. I never knew that!

      Yeah this feature comes with the snowy escape pack! It’s an important part of japanese culture so that’s why they integrated the feature 😍 I love it a lot!! I didn’t know there was a difference between the ladies and men’s shoe rack though 😱 Love the little details!!

    This is so well done it should literally be the Sims 4 tutorial from EA.

    Heated pools are a revelation! My Sims keep doing their homework while sitting with their legs in the pool so this will stop them from freezing.

    • @Rosannatxt
      @Rosannatxt  Год назад +3

      This made me giggle, it’s such a sims problem to have to heat your pools because sims are so silly and do their homework at the side of the pool in freezing winter 🤣🤣 I’m glad this was helpful though!! Together we find ways to make the game work 🤭

    I like the book Skill Up, yet also when I make a new sim I have them watch the cooking channel. players forget use the lot trait to boost the skill leveling. having the family start a club to level all skills through the club perk buffs.

    • @Rosannatxt
      @Rosannatxt  Год назад

      Oooh the club one is definitely a good one! I don’t use that enough either! 😅

    I knew most of them, but THANK YOU for the plan voting tip!! I was SO tired of having to gather signatures to revoke weird plans that I never even voted for.

    ok so i counted the tips and i knew 34/35 ☺️ the one i did not know about was the filter in CAS for randomizing a specific thing on your sim like hair and it’s actually so cool! Thanks for marking this Video ❤

      woooow you knew so many!! 😱 Still glad there was one in there that was new and you learned something from the video 🩵🩵

    Fun video! There were a few things I didn't know about. That custom randomization list! 😱🤯
    I wish they'd show the festivals from Island Living on the calendar.
    Have an amazing day and weekend!!

    • @Rosannatxt
      @Rosannatxt  Год назад +2

      That custom randomization list still BLOWS my mind when I think about it 🤯 Cannot believe I missed that for so long! And now that you mention it, it’s actually kinda silly that the island living events don’t show up there as all other events from the worlds do 🧐 you also have an amazing weekend!! 🩵

    This is one of the best videos I've seen for Sims 4. I knew most of these, but of course the randomize filter eluded me till now! I made sure to save it to replay when I'm playing the game. Thanks!

    Ty so much. So much money and time and frustration over the years trying to figure this out. There is a huge learning curve! I’m saving this video, I appreciate you taking the time to make this. 🙏🏻 I started playing Sims hot date years ago when it was easier, but got so overwhelmed as it got more stuff. I’m excited to try these tips. ❤

    I like these kind of videos from you and other simtubers. Well done! But I keep wondering why nobody ever mentions the shift + tab key combination... is it to basic? To boring? Or do people not know? Personally I love this one.

    • @Rosannatxt
      @Rosannatxt  Месяц назад +1

      You mean the first person camera when clicking shift tab? (: If that is the case, I have a full video on camera controls and it’s not directly related to in game interactions so I didn’t feel the need to include it in this video but it’s definitely a great sims tip and I love using the feature when my sims are jogging to explore the world through a different POV

      Thank youuu!! 🩷 Yes the house is on my gallery but I did build it really long ago and I don't specifically remember the lot name. It's a lot in the Eco Lifestyle world and the outiside of the house is brown, white and black and it's a mid-century modern build! If you scroll down you should be able to find it 🩷

    The best way to get a skill up is MICRO HOMES from tiny living. You yourself dont even need to have a micro home but if you have a friend or family that has one then you should go visit to get the skill up (even better if you make a club at their house and get some club bonuses you will be lvl 10 in 2 sims days)
    Best way to get fun up, make the sim like the skill they often use. You can add likes in CAS
    For the gardening you forgot the scarecrow from seasons. If you befriend him he will litterly come to life! and water / weed your crops

    So funny story about tip 2
    I was playing with the CheatsUI mod and I clicked the Hunger Icon to get my sim to eat something.
    Only I misclicked and instead of hitting the icon, I hit the hunger bar.
    This made my sim immediately die of starvation.
    It was hilarious and tragic at the same time

    • @Rosannatxt
      @Rosannatxt  4 месяца назад

      I have done this too and it was SO painful! It actualy happened to so many people that UI now gives a pop up with you lower your hunger needs that much to prevent accidental deaths

    Thanks for the tips. I knew most of these tips. But one tip that got me puzzled. The hanging pictures on the wall. It doesn't work. I play on console. I wonder if it's all consoles or I have to fix something. I ask many others but no reply

    • @Rosannatxt
