Upper Front Tooth Implant with Sameday Crown - Brighton Implant Clinic

We placed a single tooth dental implant for this patient. He has had dental implants in the past which have been in place for 13 years. On the left side some of the gum tissues have shrunk and the zirconia abutment is visible. The patient has lost also some bone support around the implants. The implants and crowns are functioning well. Despite this bone loss the teeth are functioning well. The patient understands that he may need to replace the adjacent implants in future if the bone loss were to become worse.

Hi Dr bruno, is it possible to get tooth extraction and dental implants within same day for front two teeth? Given that you meet all requirements of bone level, oral hygiene, non smoker etc

Hi Dev, yes it is possible if there is adequate bone to support the implants, your gum tissues also need to be of a good quality, some patients have very thin type of gum tissues and this is not ideal for these types of immediate implant placement procedures. It is also very important that you avoid pressure on any provisional crowns that are fitted onto the implants. If you need any further info please do let me know

surprisingly not as painful as you would think, there is some minor discomfort when you have local anaesthetic but once the anaesthetic is working you dont really feel any pain. You may feel some discomfort and pressure but it doesnt hurt.

the tooth dont even fit whats the point in fitting a brand new tooth if you then gotta ruin it by shaving the bottom of it to fit thats the whole point of a mold

This is probably just the temporary crown. A few months later, once the jawbone has healed and osseointegration has happened, they will apply the permanent crown.
