This guide will show you how to use Xbox controller or Mouse + Keyboard to control your hands in virtual reality with VRidge.
it would be great if you could move left or right hand individually, by using F1(for left hand), F2(for right hand) and F3(for both hands).
I actually came here to ask if there's a way to have individual hand movement with keyboard or controller, since is impossible to navegate the menu in VR Chat for example... Otherwise, this app works really well.

Is there a way to configure the steam controller to do any of this?
Probably a dumb question, but how do you turn other than using your head on mouse and keyboard controls? I'm using a phone tethered to the PC, so I'm locked into facing one direction. Intuitively I would assume just moving your mouse, however, this does nothing.
lol very sad the only way to move your head in vr is through gyro

Anyway I can use this without connecting to a phone or whatever? All I want is to play SkyrimVR with mouse and keyboard on my PC... You see, I prefer mouse and keyboard over any VR controller. VR is almost only about visual improvement for me. I don't care much for waving my hands and standing on my feet all day.
You need a phone to put it in phone vr headset and then you are ready to go

Yeah great and what about gravity? There is absolutely no way of turning it off and controlling the vertical position of your head. If the game doesn't use a fixed head position, you will just fall on the ground and stick there. Sure, you can "jump", but you'll always fall back down. Since you already have a system that allows you to jump and therefore control the vertical position with simulated gravity, why not allow us to turn it off and bind keys for up/down head movement?

does Vridge work without gyroscope (i mean you can turn around with the mouse)
There should be a rear camera output at the top-right of the game. So you can see the keyboard.

Seriously, have spent 4hrs trying to get the controller to work properly, literally the only reason is that in the RiftCat Client in the configurations tab, neither my keyboard/mouse or wired Xbox 360 controller show up, rendering everything useless. please FIX this ASAP

Hello, my name is Irley, I'm Brazilian, and I have a PC with an i7 7700, gtx1060, 24gb of memory, ssd m1 nvme of 1 tb, corsair 750 source, Asus sb 250plus motherboard, I installed the Rifitcat program and I just can't seem to get it plays NO MAN SKY, because when I try to enter the game, the xbox controller does not work, but if I enter the mode other than virtual reality the controller works, I don’t know what else to do, I have a Razer MAN NO WAR headset, he it's wireless, wirelles, I already disabled the razer synapse, and even then it doesn't work, I use the XBOX360 control, I don't know what else to do.
I don't have a configuration tab in my Riftcat client

well now i might think about getting a vr headset sense i can use my keyboard and mouse vr would be a lot better if you where able to use keyboard and mouse by default for the people like me with only a 4'x4' space to play in so if i play a boxing game or something with any movement im going to be taking out my walls dresser and bed
Xbox controller doesn't get mapped through..Ie doesn't show up as controller in steamVR home..some keys work but not the ones according to the config page..controller gets mapped if I use driver4vr instead
what is joystick and pressing down joystick cause a game im playing requires me to press and use the joystick

@HoundDogZA you can connect your phone to your PC through the same Wifi network
@HoundDogZA connect it to RiftCat raise your mbps bit stream if your internet is fast enough and make sure you're using a 5.0 ghz frequency.

All devices need gyro it will not functional because you need google cardboard but you need gyro or else it won't launch
