For all of us, gearvr users, it would be nice to have a 2nd controler. Some awesome now riftcat fully supported games need a second one. To me that should be riftcat next milestone.
To be honest it's Oculus SDK limitation. Once they add 2 controllers support we'll likely do so as well. There's been rumours that Santa Cruz has 2 6-DOF controllers, hopefully we'll hear more during Oculus Connect in 2 weeks.

Once properly configured you can use as many pointing devices as you need, for instace; keyboard, mouse, gearvr drivers, psone wands... It is not perfect, and you will need in some point pscameras or old MsKinetc cameras if you want to track all your body, but most of the games are quite playables

so i got the samsung gear vr controller and while i connect it to my phone it immediately turns off during the firmware update. i have disconnected and unpaired several times and it keeps giving me the same issue where it just shuts off and gets stuck
i this feature removed? i cant see this option in the pc app and i got my daydream controller paired with my supported phone in the headset and i cant get the controller to appear as vive controller in steamvr
This is not working for me. Vridge/Riftcat does not detect my controller. I do not know why. :( I can pair the controller with my VR headset without without vridge/Riftcat, but i cannot connect my setup to my pc.

For the controller to work you MUST install vridge through the oculus app. You will then be issued a key which must be redeemed in the oculus app. Vridge will the appear in you oculus library and can be launched from there. Your controller will then show up and be recognized by steam vr as well. 1. Guessing that you are using a Motorola phone, you can't use Gear VR controllers. Gear VR is only possible on Samsung devices. And for 2, you can't use them even with cardboard. Get yourself an Oculus Go or even better an Oculus Quest.
I want to play DCS with VRidge and my Gear VR, but the controller is too much up front, so that my hand is inside/under the control panels! How can I fix that, is it even possible to fix? Help would be really appreciated!!!

Need an update video on how to connect samsung gear vr controller with an iphone and google cardboard. i literally wasted 50 dollars trying to make the controller work from via bluetooth of my pc, to buying multiple programs and still the controller does not work. I still don't get what he means connect the gear vr controller to the headset when their software is literally for google cardboard. Need of an update overall I am just overall confused
Update: The video was hugely clickbaited to represent the "gear vr controller" being able to be used on all device making me think that the gear vr controller is universal but its only for oculus gear vr samsung. Had to spend another week buying the headset so I legit just spent as much or almost as getting a regular vr set. Rigged, but overall riftcat is pretty good.
RiftCat, I do have a problem and that is trying to play Roblox VR with this setup, it says to click the thumbstick then let go to move but its got a touchpad, not a thumbstick, may you answer this and provide a fix if possible.
If your controller doesn`t work in riftcat on your pc go to the left on "Configuration" and make sure you checked your controller type.Still doesn`t work?Once you launch steamvr go to three lines, room setup and select room scale or standing only and make sure when you are completing to your controllers are there if doesnt help reply me.

So in my laptop, i got 3 usb port, 1 type c port, etc. So i wanted to play vr but in cheap way, so i bought 3 ps eye camera, and 2 ps move. The ps eye camera needs 1 usb port each, so the only port left is the type c, so can i connect my phone to my pc trough the type c port (using usb female to type c male)

i think if you pair it to your computer it might work, though pairing it with ur phone might be better. (even if its not samsung)
