- Breastfeeding both my babies at the same time!👏 I’ve been working so hard towards this goal!🙏 Both the twins were screaming and so unsettled & it’s just my instinct to put my baby on the breast so I did it! Then I was like “WOW!! I did it?!?????”🤣 It’s amazing how you push through pain when you know your baby needs you!💯❤️
I still have either a bacterial or fungal infection on my left nipple that sends burning pains through my breast. It has started happening on my right side now too😫 BUT my right nip is no longer cracked👏👏👏
the left side is obvs still a mess with blisters and cracks and scabs 🤪🤦🏼♀️
I talked to a new lactation consultant who has two sets of twins (God bless her!🤪😅) so I feel like she may understand my situation better than most and I feel like I have some good support!
7 weeks breastfeeding & pumping through h*ll … but I feel like with this new support system I’m going to figure it out.🙏👏☺️
Honestly, if I hadn’t already breastfed two kids for a full year each I would’ve switched to formula by now bc this has been crazy, but I know I’ve done it before & I know I can do it again so I just don’t want to give up!
But if by the three month mark I’m still in pain with cracked & blistered nipples … I’m going to let breastfeeding go.😩 My original goal was one full year but it’s been excruciating mentally and physically & it’s not worth taking the joy out of these precious moments with my babies. 🙏❤️🙏❤️

@@Barngirl_26it's hard enough to breastfeed twins in public without worrying what other people think and whether it's done discreetly. We need to give mothers a break, they are isolated enough and some mothers do not leave the house because they are worried about what other people think.
@ duh. All it takes “in public” is a little blanket to be discreet and respectful of other people. This isn’t a third world country. You must be one of those liberals.🙄

@@Barngirl_26 I don't think it makes a difference whether you are in a developing country or not. You may call it liberal but trying to cover yourself with a blanket while trying to feed 2 moving kids is nearly impossible. We should make it easier for mums rather than putting more demands on them!

Look, don't put too much pressure on yourself. You know that the babies have gotten the most important part of breast milk so if you need to stop, especially for your physical and mental health, then don't torture yourself. Good for you! My sister breastfed her twins, and they grew up to be healthy, and happy, and have wonderful straight teeth. I have four kids. All were breastfed till about 3 years old. I can give you a hundred reasons why this normal healthy way is better for Mom and better for baby. Jamie, you rock!

You were never a reality TV show participant. They've recorded and aired their entire relationship from the very start (litterally) till today. They make their money blogging their life and she is trying to normalize breastfeeding. Boobs are for babies.. that's why we have them. Changing the stigma & encouraging other Moms to keep going. My son is 14, & he wouldn't think to make fun of anyone for breastfeeding when they were little because I've made a point to normalize it in his mind. It's up to parents to teach their children that it's normal for babies to feed from breasts. The problem is not this mom or any mom breastfeeding their baby (or babies) here on RUclips, in public, or anywhere else. The problem is that some societies have made breastfeeding into this taboo of sorts, when it's as natural as breathing. Think about why you feel the way you do about it. If you had been around mothers breastfeeding their babies your whole life & seen babies eating the way God intended, in public & on a regular basis, you would not think anything of it & likely wouldn't give it a second thought. Perhaps look into when formula was invented & how the formula manufacturers & hospitals got together & started pushing formula onto new mothers & have yet to stop. It's a real eye opener, a conspiracy even, & it's truly unfortunate. We should all want the absolute best for our babies & for all babies, & in most cases breast is best. Babies shouldn't have to sweat under blankets in the summertime to eat, & moms shouldn't have to rush home to feed their little ones, just because other adults are offended or embarrassed seeing babies eat. Think about how crazy that is. 😢

Im a month into breastfeeding ny 4th and it is anyways really hard for me because i have D-MER which makes me feel anxious, depressed and sad all at once every time i have a letdown.
I stick with it because im an adult and i can handle these emotions for a year or 2 to give my baby the best nutrition that is available to her to set her body up for better success for her life😊

This used to be normal. One of the greatest act of love. Now people are reacting with fear, guilt, and consternation.
People are reacting with sadness that this girl shows her boobs to the entire world for some psychological need. We live in a different and sick world now. Lots of mental illness. She is not considering the potential longterm consequences for her children or herself. Or, perhaps this is a sick fantasy of her husband, which is often the case with ppl who have a deep need to show their entire life on social media to feel "normal"

Try using a Tri pillow. Wrap around yourself on your lap. Lie each one back along with the pillow feet to the side/waist. Heads to the front. You can cradle each baby under their heads and they don't roll off because your forearm runs up the side of them. It is less strain on you especially your back which you need to support.

My twins are 29 years old and when I went into have them at the hospital. They thought my pillow was the best thing. It's horseshoe-shaped but very firm foam. And you can football feed each twin. And they have a nice support for their back. And you have a little table. If you need to eat a me meal, it works awesomely. I would look into that for sure. When they got a little older and realized when I got the pillow out. It was time to eat it was funniest thing smaller. They would kick and get excited when they were crawling. They would crawl right over to me and I could lift them up.
