Unfortunately not all the info in this video is correct. CDC purchase rebates are refunded in CRO, not in USD.
And card topup for Wirex in Europe has no fees. I've done it many times and never paid a fee.

Hi. Jus wondering if you can answer a question. So with this debit card, could I transfer bitcoin, stable coin or other on the card and use the crypto, to buy things? Or is it only deposit of fiat you can spend. Also is there any tax implication? Thanks

Why use cryptocurrency if I have to give up security and privacy? Then I'd rather use a classic card. This is against the mentality of crypto. We want to get out of the matrix, they say use crypto inside the matrix. No.

If you're living in a country such as the US, the IRS may want to have a word with you. That's because, every time you use your card, you might be triggering a taxable event. This depends on factors like whether you've held onto the coin until you've earned some gains. It's wild. I know. :/

It was irresponsible reporting on the author's part to omit the fact that in the United States ALL purchases of goods and/or services with crypto are considered to be taxable events and MUST be reported to the IRS when filing taxes. This applies to both big-ticket purchases like a house as well as tiny purchases like a cup of coffee. Crypto can be an accounting nightmare if the crypto holder isn't prepared for these bookkeeping responsibilities. Unless a crypto holder has the ability and desire to calculate this information or is willing to pay someone else to do it, it is advisable to refrain from purchasing any goods or services with cryptocurrency under the current tax law. Hopefully at some point the tax laws will change to more crypto-friendly purchases of goods and services. Until then, if you plan to use crypto to buy goods and/or services with cryptocurrency, be sure to document all of your transactions and become familiar as to how this gets reported on your tax return. Good luck.

That’s why you move out of country. To country that’s doesn’t have tax laws against crypto. Or doesn’t tax as much

@@raythomas5090 As long as one still retains his US affiliation even if he/she lives abroad this tax implication is still valid. What is the difference between using crypto debit card being inside of the US or outside of it in this regard?
