  • It's two years since Russia invaded Ukraine and in that time thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have come to the UK as part of what's called Op Interflex.
Forces News' Ukraine correspondent Simon Newton has been to the south-west of England to meet the latest batch of Ukrainian troops undergoing training with the British Army.

      Give me a break.
Russian "meat waves" aren't even effective in Ukraine. If Russia tried that against NATO it would have no military left in a week.
NATO isn't reliant on mostly ground artillery for battlefield support, it has massive and much more importantly highly effective air forces. We've already seen just how ineffective Russian integrated air defences are and as F-35s become operational in air forces all across Europe this will create a total nightmare for Russian commanders at all levels.
Even nuclear as the F-35 is now rated to carry to large nuclear shapes. On a platform that would have no issue penetrating into Russian air space to any distance its fuel can take it.
Russians are far more afraid of us than the other way around.

Like Crimean war tho you can say it was almost a draw.
But there were Polish invasion in 17th century that was pretty close call , and also lost war with Japan in 1905.
Then Soviets lost ww1 and right after that invade and lost to Poland. Afghanistan barely counts as war but still ended up with Soviets backing out with 10k killed in 10 years. And there was first Chechen war in 1990's...
So there's a handful of defeats.
