Installing $7000 Worth of Parts On My Miata

Here is a START TO FINISH overview how installing a Turbo Kit on my 2005 Mazda Miata!

Did you swap your head gasket to the nb8a gasket. You're supposed to do that if you're doing a coolant re route on the nb8b (vvt) head. Mazda modified the head gasket and blocked off some coolant ports slightly to create more flow to the hotter cylinders.

Take out the coolant reroute. The vvt engine has a modified head gasket for better coolant dissipation and if you use a reroute it can cause more harm than good.

Why did you get the adjustable timing wheel? Can’t you just adjust the timing with the stock TDC mark on there?

This is a full flyin Miata turbo kit. It comes with a piggyback tune. They call it the voodoo box
