I did this to my 4 channel amp that’s goes to my 2 rca head unit. Seeing my head unit only had left/right, I put my front rca’s to the left and the back rca’s to the right. So I was able to fade from front to rear by using the balancing adjustment.
Also as FYI, by doing this you lose the ability to fade/move/balance the audio from front to back. Also use caution that the RCA at the back of the radio isn’t for subwoofer only.👍🏼
Damn so it would just stay balanced in the middle? I drive a single cab and the speakers behind my seats are dog shit and I usually have it balanced closer to the front to account for it.
@mr.duckybeatsbruh9173 1st thing is replacing those junky rear speakers, but installing a 4ch amp from a 2 ch radio just means adjusting the Gain properly so it's to your liking 👍
Uhg I'm so confused everything I've read says doing this is the way to keep beable to fade/balance. I'm still confused on how to plug them in if I'm coming from a +(red) do I plug the 2 male ends both into the +(red)on the amp which are both + Right/1front, 1 Rear? Then both coming from the -(white) to the -(white) on the amp F R? Or both to right which would be a + from stereo going to a + and - R,L/front only on amp & then the other 2 from stereo - to + and - R,L/Rear ?? My are all right next to eachother in the square of all 4 not spread like his. I can't see the colors he's plugging them into. I think coming from a + you plug both only to a + even though the splitter Is 2 colors idk uhg and the splitters I found are not red and black they're blue and grey.
What if u can’t with ur head unit because u can’t change the factory radio !!! How do I get sound coming though secondary amp for door speaker ! Do I need a rca splitter to other amp
Hello im still very confused Mine are laid out differently the left side of square are labeled 1 red(R on top), 1 white(L on bottom) but both are for Front only. Then on the right side of square is labeled 1 red(R on top), 1 white(L on bottom) but both Rear..... So is it like that?? Or the on the Y coming from stereo red to 2 red ontop together but both labled Right/ Front and Rear, Then other Y from stereo on bottom 1 White to 2 white labeled Left/front and Rear?? How do i keep the fade and balance? Does trying both ways mess anything up??
I have a question im running a stereo with 2 sets of rca to a 5 channel amp im having issues wiring it it makes a weird vibration noise can i do something like this or do i need to buy a head unit with 3 set of rca?
The head unit can only send signal to 2 speakers but the amplifier can send it to 4 speakers. This distributes the signal from 2 channels to four. But it is not true stereo.
Me too! I'm sooo confused Mine are laid out differently the left side are labeled 1 red(R), 1 white(L) top&bottm but both are Front. Then on the right side is labeled 1 red(R), 1 white(L)on the bottom but both Rear..... So is it like that or the onthe Y coming from stereo 1 red to 2 red ontop together but both labled Right/ Front and Rear, Then other Y from steareo on bottom 1 White to 2 white labeled Left/front and Rear..... Are you having the same issue?
I only have two inputs in my car stereo, but 5 rcas (door speakers and sub) would I be able to bridge all 4 door speakers to 1 without any issues and still be able to plug my sub into the other one?
Walmart has a pack that has 2 in it both different so one has to be the correct way. Either 1 female to 2 male (which is usually the right one coming from a stereo) OR 1 male to 2 female. So you would need 2 packs to get the 2 matching what you need then your gona have 2 left over you dont use but theyre only like $4 each. I still don't understand which colors they each plug into though mine is laid out differently then his....
You said channels 1/2 on amp is right and channels 3/4 is left on amp.... but in this video you connected left channel from head unit into "Y" cable right 1/2 and right channel from head unit into "Y" cable left 3/4.. ??!! WTH man?...
Why doesn’t the left and right stay left and right? You made left a channel and right a channel. Shouldn’t you have a left and right perspective channel?

Take some wire preferably 2-8 guage for subs and run it from the amps back side (this is the front in the video) to the subwoofer negative and positive there will be positive and negative holes with screws to hold them for each channel
@@Bread.--__--I have a sound system that has front and rear but not sub rca connections would using this bridge to combine front/back speaker to front imput on sound system and then the rear for sub?
@ThisDudeZaps Connect rca's from front output of radio to amp using Y cables for your 4 speakers in car.. Then connect rear radio rca's from radio to rear channel of amp for your sub.
The best way is put the 2 black to 1 channel and 2 clear(brown) to the 2nd channel.
Does this keep the fader/balance feature if you do it this way?
Simple thanks for sharing, I installed two extra speakers in my van and looked at the amp and was scratching my head ha ha

No
i have an rca for zone 1 and 2 on head unit and RCA inputs for chanels 1-4 on amp. How to connect Thank you!

You'd probalby need an Audio control product to split the signals up and give them a voltage ⚡️ boost at the same time fornthat to work correctly
Audiocontrol LC2i
Where do I find the split connectors at
Where can we buy these rca cables
Amazon
Craigslist under free stuff 😂
Nsme of that wire please?
Having trouble finding already bought 2 set of them but none will connect to each other where can I find the set he is using in the vid??

White goes to white and red goes to red
This way you can't get stereo sound

What they plus called I bought the wrong kind
You just hooked up all left channel to one side and all rights to other side. You don't know what you are doing.
So how to connect the subwoofer to the amplifier
Take some wire preferably 2-8 guage for subs and run it from the amps back side (this is the front in the video) to the subwoofer negative and positive there will be positive and negative holes with screws to hold them for each channel
@@Bread.--__--I have a sound system that has front and rear but not sub rca connections would using this bridge to combine front/back speaker to front imput on sound system and then the rear for sub?
@ThisDudeZaps
Connect rca's from front output of radio to amp using Y cables for your 4 speakers in car..
Then connect rear radio rca's from radio to rear channel of amp for your sub.
That is not a true “bridge”.
All you are doing is separating the channels from the head unit, but not “bridging” the amplifier.
Errado
So no subwoofer this way💀 bro just get a decent headunit
It’s so he can run better mids not for subs no head unit will sound as good as an amp
If his 4 channels amp have another output. It is for subwoofer. RCA output from 4 channels go to RCA input Monoblock.
You’re slow
Is only 80 bucks for a decent one 😂
I thought white went to red an black to white
Doesn’t matter both colors same type of wire inside
No help

@@CanalTarampshello, could you make the same video for a 4 channel setup with 2 front speakers and 1 bridged subwoofer ?
