SAO is actually a really sad story. You see the joy, happiness and purpose in Kirito when he is in a simulation even though he wasn't in the real world. The whole story is beautiful and depressing
I know right, it's so deep. Rekis story is extremely emotional. I for one, think he's a genius writer. And I cannot wait for Unital Ring to be adapted, It was so sad seeing Kirito making closer friends in that simulation, just to lose them, just for it to be a test. The dearest to him being Eugeo hit hard for me and kirito, but in the Unital Ring novels it is told that Ronye and Tiesse deep freezed themselves so they could see kirito again before he left the max acceleration. And I'm sure some of the integrity knights survived, as they are said to be immortal...just not in combat. I'm sure it will be an amazing season whenever it's adapted. (Most likely 2025) but anyways, I've gone through a Rollercoaster of emotions in SAO. And just to think, this is just an anime. None of this never happened, it really depresses me something so perfectly written and so vividly explained never happened. I like to think that the people in SAO exist in some distant universe, and that is whatever my mind visualizes.

@@eugeoyes513 You aren't wrong about it being Beautiful and Depressing, Kirito never failed to express his human side, just the fact that he's so incredibly powerful it's kinda hard not to see it lol.
Saachii was the beginning of Kiritos fall into a downward spiral of guilt and agony, survivors guilt in a sense, the way he grieved is believable

Eugeo was a similar case to saachii but on an even greater scale.... The man literally *Tore* himself up because he couldn't save a few people on time, but man... The relationship between Kirito and Eugeo hits home for me.
@@eugeoyes513Yea but space ships? That is so far from swords. Not to mention end of series Asuna, Kirito, and Alice mop the space thing with swords in space and no ship. Not even caring its a void of oxygen. This next season is likely to tank the series. GGO still fit the theme. Space Ships, no not even close. Im hoping it was a rare case of anomalies the knights used to take them on but still rely on swords.
Sword art online may have not been everyone's cup of tea but I absolutely loved it and it's amazing soundtrack

Don't care what anyone says, the novel as well as the animation for this arc truly saved the storyline of SAO. It went back to it's roots of life or death situation within a video game, but more than that too.
I agree. Most of the arguments against SAO don't hold for Alicization.
Alicization was definitely the best season.
Best arc, though arsuna ruined it for me when she was put back into the action, least favourite get rid of her

Agree, Eugeo was an amazing character and his dynamic with Kirito was great. All of the fights vs the Integrity knights were awesome. Only disappointing thing was War of the Underworld. I wish I could just unsee all of it LOL.

The more I listen to *Find Your Sword in this Land* and watched the rest of SAO Alicization War of the Underworld and able to hear the soundtrack music clearer since I memorized their tunes. I’ve notice how ominous and prophetic the song is. If you listen to the song of *Find Your Sword in this World* you will notice that Eugeo’s theme plays in it. You could say that *Find Your Sword in this World* is Kirito’s theme music since it mostly plays when he is battling. At first I thought it was a nice touch to the song since it’s pretty and gives you a thrill, but it’s more of Kirito’s emotions and connection to Eugeo. This really does add something to the ending of Alicization when Kirito battles at the end when Eugeo snaps him to his senses. Here is the time stamp, listen to this carefully, 1:23. Keep hitting this until you get familiarized with the tune, now listen to this: 3:11 this is the same tune that plays in *Find Your Sword in this World*. I am theorizing that this isn’t just put in this song for some random reason. :) I dunno but it really does play a major part in the last battle scenes with Kirito and Eugeo’s “spirit” and or “memory” together working as a team. Yeah, every character appears to have its own theme, and, since eugeo was in this season with kirito almlost all tje time, they mixed their themes, you can notice that when kirito is alone in war of underworld part two, they played the old kiritp theme

alice is the soul of sword art online. the whole story ends with alice being born in a world of swords she is calm powerful fearful smart but at the same time a scared girl who seeks help in others. the result of all these vr worlds and the world seed as a whole all the death and pain and suffering results in the creation of a world ment to bring more death and destruction but gets saved by kirito and asuna. where as in the first arc that world was destroyed by kirito and asuna the underworld is saved and result is the real enemy's *the government that hired the mercs to steal alice in the first place* failed and alice is brought to the real world. this series has so much more to the story then sword fights if you are willing to look for it and that would is brought to life largely due to its amazing music that captures the emotions the story is trying to tell. from a soft calming tune to a thunderous roar of explosions this series brought back the love of anime for so many people for ten years.
I'm sad for Eugeo... I will miss him...
