    I remember modding the Dragon Nest OST with Swordland. Ah, those were the days, man! Being a gamer back then was a whole mood. The nostalgia hits hard, you know? Good times, exploring virtual worlds, leveling up characters, and that soundtrack just added a whole new dimension to the gaming experience. Those were the golden years of gaming for sure.

      @Hōtarō Oreki The only thing that made it bad in my opinion was that they rushed it way too much and sacrificed A LOT of character development. Other than that the story was alright the premise was pretty interesting and given enough time to develop the characters could be a lot more likeable.

      @DJ DOOMHEM @DJ DOOMHEM Half Dive systems have been around for about a year or 2 and the concept for a while longer, but here's a prediction I made back when I was a freshman back in 2019. We are really close as it is to a full dive, but I believe if we want to achieve full dive, we would have to follow around the same direction as to how our body enters in REM Sleep (at least for the paralysis) Also I believe we would also have to include Electroencephalographic instruments to allow our brain to send out signals sort of like how keys on a keyboard would work ("move left" would have its own wave, same with "interact" or "move up")[This is a crucial requirement in full dive technology to prevent users on having the risk of the real world affecting your physical body while controlling the user in the virtual world]. This is stuff I believe is already possible if not then already in the works, but out of everything thing else that is already held in our reach there is the issue of "entering the virtual world." Because with our current technology we can already manipulate the senses of our body which allows us to create touch, taste, and even smells, but the issue follows sight because the nerve gear makes the user close their eyes in a paralysis state, the visor in the system I believe is just built for its own status interface before launching the game in the system (battery percentage, time, settings, etc.) Although I only have a small idea on how in the world something like that would work, I believe if we were to replicate our own version of the nerve gear's manipulation on sight, we would need to follow REM Sleep, physical effects, but not block sight, which seems difficult since REM literally is "Rapid eye movement sleep" which indicates we are not conscious at the time it's active, but with our current EEG technology we should be able to figure out a way to cut off our physical senses with a headband, but it's very tedious work to not only "turn off" the nerves the follow around our skin, but also "program" the new senses, but making the body recreate senses in another world would probably need to be scripted off of a whole new program and language, which will definitely take time to construct. But with everything else basically being re-programmed our eyes should remain the same, but have the "visor" of the headset follow the same capabilities of current day Virtual Reality. Thanks to Metaverses's investment and technology that is trying to redefine the resolution of their VR and even with Unreal Engine's new 5th engine, making things hyper-realistic should be a breeze. Although all of this is just my idea of anything close to a prototype, I have more ideas and I would love to help make one of these one days in the future, but there will be a lot of issues along the way such as eye strain, neuropathic disorders, or even high risks of brain damage on testing EEG technology, it's all very risky, but I don't believe it's impossible.

      @DJ DOOMHEM Could do it quite literally like the OG Matrix movies. You have a plug at the base of your neck and when a plug is inserted, it intercepts the neural feed to your body and sends it to a computer. There, everything experienced by the mind would appear, feel, taste, sound and smell real. But the problem is because it would render your body paralyzed, you would have issues determining what is reality. Could have interesting implications for ACTUAL paralyzed people, giving them a way to live a more normal life. But like everything, at some point you gotta come back to reality.

    If only man, if only, the authors explored the aincrad's story more, like we got through all the floor no timeskip. This would be the best anime up until now and this movie, about asuna's point of view, would hit really hard like REAL HARD.

    • @sephidude123
      @sephidude123 2 года назад +32

      @@iqhmalRedux it's very likely that even then not nearly enough is going to be written about the 100 floors.
      Dan machi never rushes its 56 floors and while we still have not seen a majority of them save for a glimpse of 50-56 from Aiz' perspective, we are still being shown the transition between them and a steady progression through what each biome is like. In SAO though we got like 1-5 then boom 100 and the anime ends. That light novel better be like 1500 pages to account for every major milestone floor or at least take that time to explore a vast chunk of that missing content. Or it just wont do the concept all that much good in the eyes of the skeptical viewers

    • @iqhmalRedux
      @iqhmalRedux 2 года назад +25

      @@sephidude123 The light novel for Progressive is still ongoing though so it might just be. Volume 8 was released last year and it covers the 7th floor. I see that as a musical concept and orchestration you do it very well, but you would need one more concept of musical production and give it a more pleasant sound and mix.
      Also to improve your music what you have to do to orchestrate something well. You have it engraved on fire in your memory each and every one of the melodies and sub melodies, the rhythm, the accompaniers, chords...
      I have not studied music in a conservatory or anything like that, but I think the best way to do this job is to keep all these concepts in mind and let yourself go in front of the sheet music or the midi keyboard or instrument.
      In the mixing part you have to visualize what is the most important thing to listen to and how to accompany it correctly. What does it have to stand out and what does it have to stay in the background or in the second line. You have to think as if it were an orchestra concert and you have the musicians ordered from front to back and from left to right "pan it"
      In the most technical part, the only thing left for you is to spend a lot of money on your home studio: good sound reproduction through monitors or headphones, a good PC, sound cards or interfaces and much more. In the more musical part: you will need many Plug-ins and also many virtual instruments "each one worth a penny".
      I'm sorry, but this text is the most summarized thing that I have been able to clarify at least in this world.
      It's very cool what you do but you would only have a few good instruments and a good mix and mastering !!!

    Tbh what I liked the most about SAO 2, a show that in my opinion did not have that much to like, was the fact that Asuna was the protagonist in the third arc. She's more human, more vulnerable, not as overpowered in-game and through all of that more relatable than Kirito has ever been. Kind of a hot take I know, but that's how I feel.

    • @sephidude123
      @sephidude123 2 года назад +2

      Anybody with one functioning braincell left knows Kirito is a crap protag. You get literally more emotion from yuuki in princess connect lol. I've always disliked Kirito as a concept. "I'm a beta tester therefore I know absolutely EVERYTHING about how to meta and powergame the shit out of any MMO. Like I don't know if they realize this but beta-testers tend to like.... just be average players not 100% speedrunners. And he's got the personality of a soggy cardboard box, the women only give a shit about him in any capacity because he's either OP and their ticket to survival, or "plot".
      Good music though lol.

    I have been watched this movie for 7 times in theater, this movie make Asuna more vivid than Tv version, and it’s more feelings to face death than Kirito‘s view.
    I hope Progressive can become the top series of all SAO‘s animation.(You know…Project Alicization’s animation is awful)
    I bought light novels 3 years ago, there are more wonderful stories wait for us.
    I glad to see more Asuna‘s rise up scene.

    • @mlordwhiteslayerfromf.u.g
      @mlordwhiteslayerfromf.u.g 2 года назад +8

      The SAO Progressive movie would naturally have better animation then the TV Anime. Movie animation is more fleshed out because the schedule for animating and releasing a movie allows for more time animating things on a scene by scene basis. Episodes of anime are on a tight schedule because each episode is animated on a week by week basis which can be incredibly bad for animation quality especially if the period for preproduction was short. I've actually recently re binged SAO and while season 3's animation had a slightly different style then season 1 and 2 it didn't necessarily have the worst animation out of the 3 especially considering some of the jank animation in the phantom bullet arc.
