People say SAO sucked but it holds a special place in my heart for being the think that started my life as a degenerate weeb and I honestly loved this anime and know why some people hate on it but it’s great for me. (Holy crap a lot of you guys actually agree with me and I see a couple of comments saying why it was bad but just because one part is bad doesn’t mean the rest of it will be bad it’s basically just like judging someone on how they are on the first day like they could be very nervous and be a clutz and you base how they are on that day but you just focus on the one thing that makes them bad and not the good that comes from it)

All those times I’ve been watching SAO till late in te night, till early in the morning even.
The times where I would do nothing but watch SAO during a vacation.
When I went to school each morning and we discussed every single thing that happened during an episode.
The hours of practice, trying to learn these songs on the piano.
But the best thing about all that is that I never once regretted doing those things.
This might not be the best anime ever might, but no matter what people say, this anime leaves a mark. A mark that makes you almost cry because of all the moments you’ve seen while whatching this anime.
A mark, irreplacebly by whatever other anime.

Honestly the writing may not be the greatest, but you’d be a downright fool to deny that this is truly a beautiful anime regardless. The OST is incredible and the animation only improved with time (seriously like the newer seasons have gorgeous animation and impeccable scenery and visuals). Kirito is also surprisingly very well written as a protagonist. I think the way they handled his trauma and PTSD from sao was done in a very mature and realistic way, and is just overall very well done. Even if the story can get pretty bad with its writing time to time, the characters have some level of decent writing.

SAO will forever have a special place in my heart, it IS the first anime I’ve watched after all. This cover is beautiful, I come back to it every few months, it’s genuinely wonderful. Hearing songs like crossing field, adamas, makes me smile and almost cry.

SAO is somewhat nostalgic for me. The episodes, the soundtracks, the characters (especially those who died 😭).. I've watched many other animes but this just hold something precious inside me, and i won't let go of that ♡

A lot people hate on Kirito because there was no “strength build” or “he started off the strongest and still is”… (that’s what I’ve heard from other weebs. The Entire Sword Art Online Series was a FUCKING MASTER PIECE (and I say that with so much pride). Yes he was the strongest but who gives a fuck. Everyone dicks Goku but no one complains about him being the strongest. SAO was never about the power. If you paid attention to the character developmentments and ALL the main characters that were shown you would know that if was more of a mental show. He mentally had to grow and I really loved that because it teaches you a lot in a wide perspective. From the start: Sword Art Online to Sword Art Online: Alicization Underworld (if you pay attention) you will get what I mean.
Hands down this show will remain my top second favorite for the rest of my life and I plan to rewatch it soon!!

It was my first anime too! I was REALLY sick (with bronchitis/pneumonia) one night and couldnt sleep so I flipped through the channels. Saw it and started watching. The episode was the Player Killer one. I was hooked! Been a long time since then lol

I watched SAO when I was 11 and it started my entire obsession with anime. It will always be incredibly special to me because of that. It has made me discover so many amazing people and things that I owe all to the fact I liked that Kirito was a boss bitch in the Netflix trailer.

SAO might not be the best anime around, but it's the one I grew up with. I watched these characters struggle, and I struggled with them. I watched these characters laugh, and I laughed with them. I watched these characters grow up, and I grew up with them. Now that the light novels are finally coming to an end soon, I can't help but reminisce about all of the good times I've had with this show and these characters. They are forever going to be a part of my life, no matter how old I get. It's the same feeling most people probably have over shows like Pokemon or Yu Gi Oh. For me, that one show will always be SAO. From now until eternity.

This brings back too many memories. It leaves me speechless. This was one of the first anime I ever watched and I remember all the emotions this gave me throughout high school. It may not be the greatest imo, but the emotional impact it has on me was greater than almost any anime. Hearing this beautiful melody and watching the video play above the piano just heightens everything I ever felt for it and brings it all out at once. It is a masterpiece

This nostalgia feeling of 2012 and now that im a grown up I havent watch anime that much like it used before. Finishing 1-2 season per day (hahaha! Idk what to do in my life back then) and now that Im obsessed with games and getting my degree, I awfully forgot that my fav anime such as SAO been forgotten in a while.
Theres love and hate mix up with this anime tbh, i personally hate the harem but love the story. Im glad I cross into this marvelous cover.

Pen Chaos rewatch SAO please up until the movie the season 3 is so trash though because the creator was pressured but please rewatch it
The first intro alone hit home. There is never a time where I dont tear up listening to the songs or melodies from SAO. Will forever and always be my favorite anime.

Yina tbh its most likely coming in this decade, the speed of technological development in the tech field increases exponentially and the full mapping of the human brain is going to finish soon, people have already invented a headset that allows you to control a remote toy car with your mind and that was years ago, go on google and search „BMI headset technology“ or something like that, youll be surprised at what youll find, its the getting the brain immersed into the virtual reality without the sensory organs that is gonna take longer

Season 3 is good but the cliff is too wide, we need to wait for the end of this year (2019) for the continuation of the alicization which was said to be on hiatus. Damn. But good anime imo.

Not entirely the "first anime" that i watched, but it was the "first" anime that i knew was anime. And it was what led me to the anime hole in the first place, so it has a special place in my heart.

This may be not my first anime too... But I liked this anime for a good reason... Hell... I loved anime mostly for the songs. Elementary... I started my anime at elementary so the first genre that got me is Mahou Shoujo. Ya know Card Captor, D.N Angel(shounen), Tsubasa, Nanoha, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Sailor Moon... Ya got it. I also got hooked at Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Tales... For their soundtrack. As I grew... I watched, sang, and read anime and manga's. The soundtracks are just amazing! You bet that I sang all of these songs in SAO and got lyrics memorized. I still sing many songs up to this day, I really don't record my singing because it's a hobby that I do everyday and I have no recording equipment. I have great memory at words... But at others... Nope. However, just as the anime industry has flourished... Their music are the same!!! They keep evolving... I got addicted at their stories and music...

SAO was the first anime i ever watched and I absolutely love it! It has a beautiful soundtrack, lots of action and many other things. I hold this anime very close to my heart as I loved it so much and i still do! This piano cover brought tears to my eyes and i hope you keep up the great work man and I hope you make more videos like this! Thank you for making this.

First official anime I ever watched, I'm a gamer and one of my gaming buddy's introduced me to it a few years back and I loved it, everytime I hear Crossing Field I'm flooded with nostalgia and when I hear Courage I get a bit emotional, it was a good anime to me, it had it rough patches but it was good, always will be
