Thank you for the recommendations! My favorite underrated books that I’ve read in the past couple of years are: - The Most They Ever Had by Rick Bragg (listen to the audio as Rick Bragg reads it and I could listen to him talk/read all day) - The Cherry Robbers by Sarai Walker - Butts: A Backstory by Heather Radke (I love having one nonfiction audiobook going at all times, and this was perfect for that, entertaining and super interesting) - Astrid the Unstoppable by Maria Parr (one of my favorite middle grade books) - Ecology of a Cracker Childhood by Janisse Ray (the audio is excellent) - The God of Endings - Jaqueline Holland (my favorite book of 2023)
Right there with ya about The Ballad ofJacquotte Delahaye - I really liked that one and recommend it a lot. One of my faves that is underappreciated is The Wonder State by Sara Flannery Murphy - it's a mystery with a magical element, very strong sense of place. Loved it!
So many unique and interesting premises! I've added a handful to my never-ending storygraph tbr (Jaded, Wolf at the Table, and Allow me to Introduce Myself) 😊
I just listened to this weeks podcast! It was great, even if you didn’t like my favorite read of the year (All The Colors Of The Dark). Don’t worry, I’m still sticking around 😂🙌🏻
You have so many interesting books here! Thanks for bringing these to our attention!
@@bookwalk1 happy to!! ☺️
