Thank you GARMIN for giving us the best in technology. The info it provides helps me handle a lot of fishing situations so much easier than having to waste half a day trying to find something they'll hit. Some knock the price but it gives a ton more info, a much easier to understand screen and is much more user friendly and costs way less than half of an almost unreadable humminbird and probably even less than a much inferior Lowrance unit. Also your customer service is great!
My guess is that they don't care. There will always be a percentage of guys that do not like something, regardless of what it is. Randy's opinion isn't going to stop guys from buying it if they want it. There are alot of guys that share Randy's opinion who don't have the platform he has. Forward Facing Sonar sales are not suffering...
I think randy maybe got butt hurt because he probably wanted to be sponsored by them and they denied him. Hence his sour tone for lord knows how long now
When running Livescope it looks like it is fine to have 2 running for perspective and forward/down. Is that an issue running 2 of the plus systems at the same time?
Thank you for your question. Yes, the LVS34 can be mounted to the transom with the optional transom mount. I have included the link below. www.garmin.com/p/864156/pn/010-13228-04

Hey garmin...as a 50 plus year fisherman that has bought a pile of garmin products over the years i have a suggestion for you guys...for 90% of us mortal humans that have a family and bills to pay...NO WAY WE CAN AFFORD 2 PLUS GRAND FOR A LIVESCOPE...YOU HAVE EFFECTIVELY PRICED MOST OF YOUR CUSTOMER BASE OUT OF THE MARKET...so just a thought...how about a budget version (under $500) that does not have a ton of junk on it we will never use...then just maybe all us guys/gals that have been loyal garmin customers can use some of this new tech...i know you enjoy the great profit margins on this high priced stuff...but i can guarantee that you would make way more on volume sales...and us loyal customers wouldn't feel like we mean absolutely nothing to a company we have supported for years because we simply dont have a checkbook that would NOT choke on the cost of these things...JUST A THOUGHT...
What makes a “loyal” customer? Buying something once and continuing to use it? It’s not a subscription. You’re not going to buy a different brand because the brand you already bought has raised prices. Prices aren’t even a Garmin issue. Lowrance and Humminbird are just as expensive, or worse.
@titotitotito lol... I fish 150 days a year..... but my wife would make me sleep in my truck for a week if I spent 3 grand on what is a overpriced fish finder...lol...... would be nice to have... but don't need it ... I catch just fine without it (just broke a 40 year record for northern pike length... 51.75 inches)... caught without livescope...
Sounds like you bought something that you thought would be so easy to use, yet it ain't working out quite like you thought it would. Now suddenly it is too expensive. Did you report to the police the person(s) that held a gun to your head to MAKE you buy this product?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 we don’t have local crappie tournaments where there is a boat w/out it. Should we ban 2d sonar? We have been vertical jigging where you can see the bait and the fish for decades. Ice fisherman have been using flashers for decades. Should we ban power poles, spot lock and trolling motors on the back of boats ?
@@bakervinci163 you started off with something and ended in nonsense, a fishing competition where you win significant amounts of money should be the best angler wins not the best boat wins , outside of a competition use what you want 😂🤷🏻♂️

Fishing is going the way of every sport. Priced out of the reach of the common working person.
So with this, do you still need a black box?
Thanks for your question, yes the LVS34 does require a GLS10 black box.
How does Garmin feel about Randy Blanket bashing LiveScope? I have enjoyed my LiveScope.
They probably don't give shit , not do I . He's a dinosaur

Who is Randy Blanket?
Thanks for the link! Is there a reason why Garmin doesn’t include it in the package?
When running Livescope it looks like it is fine to have 2 running for perspective and forward/down. Is that an issue running 2 of the plus systems at the same time?
Thank you for your question. No issue at all. You can run two of the LiveScope Plus systems at the same time.
I'd be trying out my new livescope plus but Garmin supplied too short of a transducer cord. Bummer
Can you mount the lvs34 to the transom I noticed it does not come with the bracket like the lvs32 did is there a reason for that?
Thank you for your question. Yes, the LVS34 can be mounted to the transom with the optional transom mount. I have included the link below.

Show me how it works on salmon and steelhead in any river system.
Garmin livescope "take the skill and mystery out of fishing "
If I set up my 73sv at home then turn it off, will those settings still be on there when I turn it back on at the lake?
Yes
i need to know what network cable i need from the black box to 93sv?? cable needs to be 6 foot

Would these be beneficial at all in 5-10 ft water depths?
Absolutely! Livescope still performs great at identifying fish and structure in shallow water too!
Best in 5' and deeper but after you learn to tweak the settings you can get a surprisingly clear / readable screen in even shallow water.
Nobody needs livescope. We’re sick of seeing it. It should be banned from tournaments.

Depends how much you love fishing old man

If you don’t need it then tf you yapping about?
Love it but yes a bit pricey for the average guy
The way I look at it - a person should get what they can afford or as much as is needed to give them the info their kind of fishing requires.
I bought this and am uncomfortable with price
You can sell it
Sounds like you bought something that you thought would be so easy to use, yet it ain't working out quite like you thought it would. Now suddenly it is too expensive. Did you report to the police the person(s) that held a gun to your head to MAKE you buy this product?
Yes, Livescope is so horrible they can't keep them in stock.
There is nothing on the market that is even "close" to Garmin quality and it is also the cheapest of the big three.
lol its like shooting fish in a barrel at this point
Randy Blauket says livescope the devil!
Yea , so is foooosball 😅ha
Live by these but 💯 should be banned in tournaments
