After 30 years using Cubase, I have come to the point that having both Cubase and Nuendo is extremely redundant. And probably by next year I will convert my Cubase License to a second Nuendo system. Which is still redundant since I can run Nuendo on 3 computers at once. BUT!!! Cubase always gets all the good stuff first, then NUENDO gets them... (VST instruments) Its a dilemma. I'm using Nuendo since 2001 and Cubase since 1994.
I wanted to buy a DAW for audio post-production for films, and I bought Cubase 13 Pro. I was not aware of Nuendo, which is designed for post-production. Am I out of luck now? Can't afford the upgrade now.
There are only a few things you are missing. Check the video and let me know what you have fomo over, I might be able to give you some tips on how to live without it. They also do cross grade sales sometimes, you might even be able to contact them and see about a trade-up.
@@gsmith11172 ahh, not with the version of Spectralayers that comes with Nuendo/Cubase. It'll only do the vocals and the full mix. You'll need the full versions of Spectralayers Pro to do what you want.
I love your sweat shirt. Thanx for sharing your knowledge. Long live Mr Gibbons !!!
You're the man! Keep em' coming sir!
Jeff I love your videos. Rocking the lip sweater!
Ha! Sadly it’s gone, but it was a fun month…
Love the way you do your thing, can't wait to see/hear you dig in some more...GOD's Speeeeeeeed!
Appreciate it!
@@jefgibbons You are most welcome...

Hi Jeff, what kind of big screen do you use for Nuendo
Great moustache Jef!!!😉
Thanks! Not keeping it though... ;)
"Stashe" Gibbons FTW with the N13 Review!

CTI Records. Only Jazz heads know this label. They always had the best sound!!🎼🔥🔥
That’s for sure! Good eye…
Thanks Jef big fan bro
Still would love to see maschine note repeat fully if ya have one for that in nuendo please share
Thanks again Jef
Thanks! Do you mean a note repeat type function in Nuendo/Cubase? Or actually using Maschine hardware/software and the note repeat inside Nuendo?
I upgraded on Friday and I was surprised as you at the speed it came in after Cubase. Tx for the insight and, no offence, roll on December ;-)
None taken... it's a pretty nasty stache!
@jefgibbons amazing cause so I can suffer a bit longer lol
Can you do a video of how Cuebase does stem separating
It would be exactly the same as it was in this video! That's one feature that is in both...
So can I take a sample loop and create instrument stems like Serato sample

There's something on your lip 😮
I notice it a lot... especially when practicing the trombone... not sure how so many brass players deal with the 'stache!
@@jefgibbons There must be some kind of specialist mouthpiece available 😀
@@ReubenCornell Ha! No doubt...
Hoping we were gonna get some Jef Gibbons singing on this one. Maybe next time😔
Was seriously thinking about just this… 5 years of RUclips and maybe a tiny bit of bg vox here and there!! Keep hoping…
Tested voice separator, it can not compete at all with let say Waves clarity. Or much better result using Spectralayers voice spearation.
Never tried the Waves one, thanks for sharing!
Hint / Warning: Nuendo is more for Post Pro, Fieldrecorder and ADR people. Nuendo update prices: 199 bucks ! ^^
As mentioned in the video!
