So glad I was working in Knoxville this week! I was able to meet Jay and pick up my new Hertz speaker and amp kit. Installed the night I got home, hardest thing to deal with is the gas tank, but everything else was super simple and it sounds amazing! I think your missing what was said, we are not going to make a solution that requires cutting up the bike. And we are still making a very powerful solution that we will go over in the next few weeks
Will this amp work with the Rockford Fosgate stage II speakers I already have just as loud? It’s so loud but I think you said it was only two speakers running. I would rather power the two I have and wait on the full Hertz system
This is the answer I’m waiting for as well.
They can power the fosgate speakers but the hertz sx165neo will be at least 3db louder due to efficiency, if you planning to go all hertz later go ahead and get the fairing speakers while they are on sale $100 off
@@volunteeraudio the Fosgate speakers have nicer speaker grills. That was another deciding factor in getting the Rockfords, I have that cheap looking plastic speaker grill on the standard speakers.
@@hydroboy35th you can buy the grills without the speakers, we also have logos to go on those grills that say hertz
@@volunteeraudio ohhh good to know, thanks!
Are the speakers waterproof?
Weatherproof, the hertz speakers are more waterproof but that term would mean you could submerge them under water
I just went to your link… no prices on the website. Price is blank
Prices are on the site at each product
Try it again
Can I just get the amp? I have the Rockford Fosgate speakers in the front fairing.
It’s a 80w amp which is sad. Get the Rockford 500watt.
80 watt rms x2, check out our dyno video of the Rockford 500 watt, it did 78 watts per channel
@volunteeraudio is there any different in wattage from the 500w amp that outputs 78w per channel and this kenwood 80 watt per channel system?
@@BradUlaszek no about the same, this is to upgrade from the 200 watt factory amp at a lower cost
@@volunteeraudio how can they get away with misleading the wattage by that much?? Almost doesn’t make sense.
Send me the hertz price and this one please thanks.

Here is the 2 speaker kit with Kenwood speakers volunteeraudio.com/product/hdpkg2280-audio-upgrade
I have a 2024 RG and I’ve added your pack with the speaker pods for 6.5 so what do you recommend far as hertz ?
I have a 24 Road Glide and have purchased the 500w amp from Harley. I already had some Hertz 6.5’s. Can I do anything better? Please let me know.
We will be releasing more info on our hertz 1000 watt rms solution in the next few weeks
I want to see the new bag cut out kits
How many watts does this have?
80 watts x 2
@@volunteeraudioat 2 ohms. Output will be less at 4 ohms. Let’s see this one on the dyno for kicks. Would really like to know how it compares to the factory fosgate offering which is plug and play.
@@johnfish3552 we are using 2ohm kenwood speakers and 4 ohm hertz, as usual the hertz are louder even though they are 4ohm due to efficiency, they are 3-6db more efficient than most other speakers and you have to double wattage to gain 3 db using power alone
Wowwwwwwww
Thank you!
Without wearing a helmet
No
Better off with the fosgate factory amp then this workaround that amplifies the existing output of the factory garbage.
Appreciate the effort you guys put in but you toss in so much bs fluff shilling to your customers / assuming they are not smart enough to see through it. Feel sorry for those that don’t and buy this on your word which is laced in lies / scare tactics.
Again, appreciate a lot of your work just tone down the bs and be more direct, honest…
I think I was direct, if you want a low cost solution to make it where you can hear the audio this is for you, if you want over the top awesome our a2b interface and hertz solution is coming soon but at a much higher price, there are 2 different types of people. Some want to hear it, some want to feel it. We are building both solutions
