Gotta have both. A converti and a coupé. So got the Z4 3.0si and will now get the new Supra to keep it company.

It's not an either or decision. They are chalk and cheese, and totally get him not wanting to give up one of the most connected cted raw drives you can have, especially seeing the way it's been setup. I have one too, completely factory standard also on MPSS tyres which are brilliant. The only mod I'd consider is the CSL intake, but $$$$! Love the Supra too, would have one if looking for a modern sports car drive. Or a 911...

Yep, looking at upgrading to a supra after my Z4 coupe. True successor to the Z4 coupe.

As a Z4M owner (weekend car) biggest issue I see in the comparison is Supra costs roughly double what my car is worth ($30k for Z4M and $60k for Supra), then 5 years from now I think they will be worth roughly the same, not worth double. If daily driver might pick the Supra. Also prefer manual for my weekend car.

They didn't....they co developed both cars.....toyota actually wants to make improvements to the mk5 while BMWs already looking into chopping it off their line up.

Compare the Z4 to the Z4 not the tuned by Gazoo Racing Supra. The new Supra is probably the best BMW ever built being tuned by Gazoo Racing for Toyota.
