So Cool 😎 😎😎😎😎
That’s dope bro, I’ve been keeping up with your progress, I’m taking my PAR knowledge test on the 22nd of this month, (this coming up Monday) I intend on taking all my knowledge tests and then attending ATP in Lakeland. Keep it up!
Goodluck brotha! I can’t stress how much it benefits to have the written’s done already. Focusing on the physical part of training can be stressful as is so you are ahead of the game 🤙
ATP in Lakeland I’ve been looking into that as well, I’m 35y/o though so late start but never to late if your a grinder. 👍🏼🇺🇸
Really appreciate you taking the time to document every step of the way in your pilot training. I'm having my discovery flight in about two weeks! Then medical the next day so making progress....slowly but surely. Really helpful to have a roadmap of what to expect with these videos. Would be fun to do some of my flight training FL, haven't spent much time there. I'm in Seattle so it's an awesome place for training as well (summer is great for VFR ....then fall, winter, spring is great for IFR ha ha).
Yeah, you should do an AMA video, I"m sure you'll get some good questions. 👍
I bet the views in Seattle are so dope! They have a pretty interesting airspace too. The process is all a bunch of baby steps but once it starts rolling it’s hard to stop lol. Thanks for watching & keep me updated 🤙
Great update! That Venice clip was so pretty!
I love the beach!
Thank you so much for documenting all of this. It serves as a clear and emphatic inspiration. Do you happen to have Instagram or something? Would love to speak with you as I am trying to make a decision on which commercial flight school I will attend. plan for me to quit my job and attend full-time with student loans
Yes I do! It’s @pilot.Lrod
Thanks for the kind words, I would love to be helpful anyway I can
awesome video. tbh for my solo xc i'm thinking of going 200nm and then back another 200nm. do you recommend that? do you think i could knock out my 5 hour solo xc requirement with that 400nm trip?
Absolutely! That’s a really smart idea tbh, the only thing against that would be it’s such a long flight you may get fatigued. But if you got enough sleep and got the endorsement then go for it!
congratulations
Thank you!
Bro 👌 excellent excellent 👍🏻 love the video 📸 please upload all the footage from your flights posible. Never get bored of the landing 🛬🛩️ take offs and general birds eye view of everything! Me myself I'm looking forward to soloing to my friends house in Laredo TX and doing the same "look up outside 🛩️!" you read my mind! All the best 🏆 and great seeing your success,👋🏻🇺🇸
Yes! It’s such an awesome view. It’s hard picking what footage to show to keep everyone interested lol. My favorite is the landing and beach views 😍
@@luisr8_ LoL mines are the glide path and the bird's eye view of the bays and beaches as well.. have a great week ☀️
Hi Luis. I’m looking to start flight training and I would love to ask you a few questions if possible. I think I saw a video where you switched from ATP. I’m located in Tampa as well.
Yea ask away ! I’d be more than glad to help

I got you!
Just dropped!

Life been so busy lol I’ll post an update vid soon
Wher are you from Virginia
I hope everything is ok
@@luisr8_still waiting
Just dropped! Sorry for the wait 🙏
Stud,
For the iPad mini: would you go Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular?
WiFi + cellular, you need the GPS chip that comes inside the cellular model for ForeFlight . Don’t even have to open a cellular plan to use it
Where ya at now in training bro
I got you with and update vid!
Is the chance of a student who graduates from ATP actually higher than the chances of graduates of other aviation schools to be employed as airline pilots, because I heard that employment of ATP graduates is faster?
It’s a faster program meaning you are eligible for the airlines quicker. ATP also has a lot of connections to guide students in the process. I think it for sure helps
Hey Luis... can we have a talk... I have a few questions... I will be ever greatfull..
Yea absolutely! I would love to help out
When you left ATP, did you have to give up your offer with Sky West?
Nope! It followed along with me. I just stay in touch with my recruiter
Wait, so did you or did you not leave ATP?
If your still in flight training.
Thanks, Logan
Yes I did! I left after week 4 but I’m at a new flight school
@@luisr8_ awesome!
Do you use flight following?
I did once, I want to start using it more to be honest
I would have subbed if you hadn't went awol
Haha please come back. I’ve been busy but got videos coming soon
Which school you at now?
Tampa bay aviation
@@luisr8_ good luck man! I’m at ATP hope to make it out haha
