- I play a Magic: the Gathering Online Legacy league with early access Modern Horizon 3 cards (MH3). Planar Nexus allows you to instantly turn on Tron lands like Urza's Mine, Urza's Powerplant, and Urza's Tower, making it a potentially viable Legacy ramp strategy. Nic Fit always loves sacrificing Veteran Explorer, and Flare of Cultivation is a strong new way to do that. Burning Wish allows us to find a Scapeshift for a win after amassing tons of mana and lands. I also throw in a final deck tech with an aggro Nic Fit build featuring Wight of the Reliquary!

Watching that scape shift match after seeing it on Brian's end was gut wrenching. You already know what's going to happen, so you end up screaming at the screen like it's a horror film, but instead of telling them not to split up or go into the cellar it's "No Phil! Don't sac that land! You've forgotten to check your graveyard!"
Great games anyway. Excited to see how everything will change once MH3 really gets out into the wild and we have a few weeks of chaos as everything goes.
In game 3 of the tron list, it seems like a better way to avoid timing out would've been to scry 9 and draw a card instead of making 9 scions
Veteran Explorer was the first card in my mind when Flare of Cultivation was revealed. Excited to see how it performs, hopefully the combo comes together.

Same, kind of wanted to see a golgari version though. maybe with 4 young wolf, some amount of yawgmoth thran physician, and up the count of flare of cultivation to 4

@@namingtaiahassr3240 I never said anything was wrong. And Andrea played a yawgmoth nic fit list a while back and did well with it. It’s probably good with flare now

Game 1 you ABSOLUTELY should have moved the boots to a spawn token to have 3 attackers each turn since each construct was already lethal
Karn could have also broken up the energy flux lock. Wish for coating pass coating the flux and then animate it with karn so it can get pinged by baltista. Idk if you had enough time, but all is dust was not your only out.

Karn could wish for a win over two turns at the end of game 3 of the Tron match when you timed out. Take Mycosynth to make all cards artifacts, then Emrakul is an artifact so Karn can wish for that to deal with Energy Field through Annihilator. Mycosynth failing to win the game, but making the actual win an artifact for Karn to grab is one of my favorite interactions, doesn't come up much : )
Mycosynth Lattice only turns permanents into artifacts, meaning only cards on the battlefield. Check the Gatherer rulings. It wouldn't change what Karn can grab.
@@HamburgerTime_ Thanks for the correction. I guess the interaction I was remembering was with Encroaching Mycosynth. That card is so much worse though, I don't remember why it was in the deck.
Chuckled when you put added a vexing bauble in the 2nd game when sideboarding the colorless eldrazi tron eedeck, only to take out the other going back down to one lol
Loved watching the first game from both sides... What about ivory tower as a karn wish instead of trinisphere? Would that decision have made sense in that context??

Have you tried Glaring Fleshraker? In arena it has done wonders to burn out my opponents
25:20 equip Lavaspur boots on a scion and swing for game after the Koz command? Edit: forgot about the energy field! Crazy game, love the deck!
Just don’t cast anything to avoid time out after casting command.
Let your opponent deck themselves.
They don't deck themselves becaude of Necrodominance skipping the draw step, so you still need to find All is Dust to destroy the Energy Field.

Planar nexus is all non basic land types. Boseiju has you get a land with a basic type. Not sure if I’m missing something or I’m not understanding your comment

You have 5 mountains in library still (Badlands, Taiga, 3x Mountain), and 7 tutor targets. Find 2 Valakut plus all 5 mountains and that's 30 damage.
Instead, you searched for a dryad arbor instead?

I'll be honest, I really don't like the deck techs being on the moxfield site. harder to read visually how much of what is included, and the on-site look was just a bit nicer
This will not be the norm. That was just a necessary thing to push out the content quickly enough.
Could you consider going back to the mtgo layouts for deck lists. I’m a visual thinker and it’s really hard to interpret the tiny 4’s in the corner as percentages of a deck.
