If I’m feeling exceptionally hungry while on an extended fast, I will have some bone broth. 50 calories and zero sugar doesn’t spike insulin so yes it may “break” my fast but it does not break the fat burning process
I only do bone broth fasts only because I take meds that require my stomach to be lined before taking. 3 days bone broth fasts generate good results for me.
I love the idea of none broth. I add orgeagano garlic powder or a tbls of butter too. Its helped me feel satisfied during my prolinged fasts. Especially when I started my keto 4 years ago while I was a newbie
@birkramsingh3792 it was amazing. Loved every minute of it. I allowed myself unlimited broth but would take supplements like vitamins and electrolytes, etc. I managed to reset my gut. I could have easily gone on longer. I will do another one in the near future.
I see this Dr kellylynn bone broth diet what do you think? Should I buy this to loss weight? Please help me because I don’t know if it’s true or not. Thank you
@@acrxsls1766 the way I do occasionally with bone broth is fast for 16-18 hours then have a bone broth (fat removed). It's very low calorie so you still get all the benefits while getting key minerals. Then I break fast with solid foods at the 24th hour. Look up bone broth fasting, just another method and arguably better than most
Because protein stops autophagy, if that’s something you’re interested in, and most people who do time-restricted feeding want all the benefits they can get. But you do whatever works for you.
@@lorcis1 how one even do that much? Currently on this plan, I'm already way skinnier now, now I can't become huge like Brian Cage. Well don't let getting huge fool you ( men ) , I mean long fasts only recommended for higher obese people? When I'm breaking my fast, then I'll drink some bone broth, then some eggs and butter, I like fasting

Your body won’t utilize autophagy for the amino acids if you’re drinking bone broth.
Bone broth is not taking you out of Ketosis.
True, but it takes you out of autophagy.

If you're already in ketosis bone broth will not throw you out of ketosis as there's no carbs in it to speak of.
I'm going to do a 3 day bone broth fast this week, Tuesday to Thursday. Looking forward to it.
How was it?

@@PebbleBeachLifedid you lose any weight on it? Just finished 3 days and I gained weight but I look more muscular and leaner I am confused as heck lol
how many ounces a day of bone broth? Should I drink for a three day fast at least
Can I do a vegetables broth (powder and water?)
I used his electrolyte powder on my 21 day water fast!!
and how was that? is it worth the price? or just a common electrolyte salt
I did but the last batch was horrible and chunky and yuky and would not break down. I expect better for almost $50

Why don't you recommend having bone broth while intermittent fasting?
It will prolong your eating period (by breaking the fast). Kind of defeats the purpose.

With a colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy, bone broth with salt water fasting ? I have 3 weeks time and I do not wat to fail with junk food
can you enter ketosis during a bone broth fast
I have to have a lot of medicine and I find taking it with water very difficult, so I take it with milk. .
Does that break the fast?
yes
Prolonged seems really hard to do
I've had only 24 hours. I'll do more when I'm ready.
I have done 14 day fasts. It is easy, the stomach GPUs to sleep after 3 days, hunger goes away, you don't even want to eat

I’m on day 4 only water and feeling great hunger has gone, only hard when everyone is eating around you other than that it’s not that difficult 😊
Hunger goes away. Ideal for auto-guy is in the 5 to 6 day water fast range. Save the bone broth from breaking the fast.
