I'm so glad you found the video helpful! The elements can depend on your experience, the content area(s) and grade level you want to teach. Consider the things an administrator would want to see but you may not be able to share on a resume or even in an interview. The advantage of a digital portfolio is the ability to attach videos, links to content you have created and in-depth descriptions or explanations that are important to your content or grade level. Due to the importance of technology integration, administrators may also like to see how you have, or can integrate technology to create an enhanced learning experience. A digital portfolio is a great way to showcase this knowledge! I have a book that goes into great depth about the elements of a digital teaching portfolio as well as walks you through how to create content if you don't have a lot of experience.
