1) You can see the magnifying glass on the published site. It does not appear in the edit view. 2) It comes already with the default site. It works like headers and footers on Google Docs. Click on the bottom part to edit it. 3) Since the search function only searches within the site, I don't think they're necessary. If you're talking about keywords for SEO, I don't believe it's possible to do that with Sites.
Nice video. After publishing a Google Sites website, it need not be hosted separately. Am I correct? You create a GS site first and wants to move to WordPress later- is it possible?
Santhosh M Thomas, Google site is a free platform where we can make free own website just only simple website. but if want to add more features or represent your business in good way then you should purchase hosting & domain and make your own website. and can be customize as our choice. and there is not way yet to migrate google site to own hosting. because google sites is only simple static website. there has not more option to do anymore changes. You don't need money to make a website. Just go to google drive, press new, select "Google sites". Then start making your website and once your done, on the top right there is a button called publish, over there you can select the domain.

I should have never Subscribed to this Guy ! I'm spending to much time on his Channel learning everything about everything I'm Interested in and he explains it so simple. From Video Editing, Photo Editing, Software, Using Word, Things in Windows 10 I would have never known about. Now this ! I had a Website back in the early 2000's for a lake by me when they were hard to do. Had to log in the server, edit PHP scripts, and page editing was a nightmare. I bought a domain name and created a site using Google Sites but I can't get it to rank in search. I can't even get it to show up when I search for the specific name of the site or use the URL of the site domain name. Please do another tutorial showing how to, once maid, the site will rank well or at least show up when someone enters the URL. Thanks.

Yes, very good. I started making my own web pages way way back in 2002. I used several hosting companies. All seem to be getting very expensive from the 2nd year. Just bought 2 domains - total £20 UK All the hosting I need is free! and yes, it works well, can be submitted easily, and last but not least appears in Search Engines well after about 3 weeks.

This is the perfect video because I am currently working on building my website. But I was really confuse because it seems that getting a custom url with google sites is not free anymore? even if you purchase a domain. You need to subscribe to Google Workspace which charges you with monthly fee on top of th 12 dollar annual domain fee? Or there's just something wrong with what I am doing.. Lots of cool stuff, Kevin, but waaaaaaaaaay too FAST for the normal mind. Okay, my mind isn't exactly normal, but my IQ is 150 and I was one of the inventors (uncredited) of HTML, so I should be able to keep up, but I couldn't. I was forced to rewind constantly and I missed a number of things. How about a new version that stretches it out to 30 or 40 minutes with some bullet lists and examples and the like. And just speak a little slower for us slow pokes.
If I have a couple of Google accounts (email addresses) can I make a website for each of them from Google? I'll have my YTC, most likely FB page also and may want to have more than one website. One for recipes, and one for something else. I wonder how many videos I can post? Also, how can we use keywords on our site to get noticed? SEO....Can we monetize on our sites???
