Victor it is very good that you made this video. It is especially for those viewers that cannot really see the real struggle for survival in Kenya. Viewers complaining all the time that "youtubers" should go and get a real job. Kenyans with good education wander to other countries for a better life and better opportunities squalor and splendor is real in Africa. Just like in South Africa, those high electrical wires where the rich do not want you to see what they have.
It's funny how people speak celebrities with millions still getting paid on these platforms even more they asking for poor people to subscribe just to award how rich they are. Of one has time to do youtube and get paid for it to be it. They putting in work.

Education should be free and roads and proper infrastructures should be the mandate of the government. If these essentials are not put in place for the people and job opportunities then the government should not be elected. If they can find money to pave the roads for the rich then it should be done for the poor. I must admit your conent is always very structured and intelligent. Victor, well done! The contrast of neighborhoods is quite shocking and really sad. It's very sad that generations of families are being raised in Kibera when just a short distance away, people live with such wealth, or that's what is portrayed, they could equally have large amounts of debt. Money is funny like that. You may have very little but still live within your means, or you can appear to be very wealthy and be drowning in debt by trying to "keep up with appearances," I'm curious about that fire, it looked quite bad. I hope no one was hurt.
You could be videoing those beautiful homes in America, it looks just like a nice American neighborhood. Except we don’t have walls between houses. The roads are also not too good. That house is stunning. Unfortunately there is a huge gap between rich and poor, with virtually no middle class. That is all over Africa, and is now the norm in South Africa.
Its sad that 63yrs after gaining independance not much changed for the poor. Just like in any other African country only the "few" got rich through independence and those that always had the money never lost any, instead profitting even more. This viewers should understand watching from the west.
Haiti is even worse: after more than 200 years of independence, the first black nation to fight for its freedom became independent on January 1, 1804. 😭😭😭

Kibera, like all other slump settlements where people working for the rich and because their homes are on the countryside and commuting everyday is a problem - people started erecting shacks to be closed to work.

There's Rich and Poor in every country. Even in this so called "Super Rich America", there are folks who work "Three" jobs to make ends meet and put aside something. There's also Middle America with poor people, and old people who live on a small pension and food stamps. People in Kibera needs to get up and get: I still see young people going to hairdresser, wearing the best clothes etc. Vinn was always shopping for clothes and jewelry. .. good example. Hello Victor. The story of that continent with all of her human and natural resources begs the mind of why the gap between her rich and poor citizens . I am actually short of words. The young people are not given a chance for some form of opportunities for human dignity. But the rich are living and dining in so much surplus. It’s so unfortunate for the young men and women and children growing up to face the music. African is a beautiful continent and has so much potential but politicians don’t seem to know or have the resolve to maximize what she’s blessed with. I have more to say but l will hold my peace.
