I LOVE how you do reviews with spoilers as like a #CliffNotes version, man!! THANK YOU for doing it this way! You make them like a mini-audiobook or something. It's nice to get a summarized version and easy to listen to, as well! I'm not sure when I'll be able to read/listen to it, but I DO like to know what's going on with new novels. Again, THANK YOU! It was a lot of fun. I'll have to get a copy of the book (I listened to the audio book from the library). Chances are Zahn will be back at my bookstore again eventually and I can get it signed like I did my copy of Thrawn
To everyone who already has Thrawn Alliances in their possession: I hate you all. Still, I watched this video. It wasn't much of a spoiler in my eyes, as it merely confirmed what I expected. There was no way in hell Thrawn wouldn't figure out that Anakin and Vader were one and the same. I'm anticipating more juicy videos over the next few days that I will not dare to watch, put them on the backlog and binge them when my copy finally arrives.

I’m almost certain that if thrawn,Tarkin and Vader all stood in the same room together the universe would be unable to handle the sheer awesomeness and just straight up explode.sidious being a powerful Sith Lord must’ve known this and so was carful to make sure this never happened
Indeed. It lived up to the hype. Only wish we got a hint of some sort of massive Chiss force ready and waiting for the right time to take over their share of the galaxy... That would have just blown it over and above the hype, and get for me the rank of second best book, right after the Dune Books by Frank Herbert
When i read the book i thought for sure that xoxin would come up against vader and thinking her family's connections would protect her she would push the sith lord to far.
I'm only halfway through but I love the banter between the two. Great storytelling by Timothy zahn. Plus love how you see the interactions now and in clone wars. I love it so far. Thrawn holds his ground and let's Vader know what's up. Very interesting dynamic between the 2. Glad we got this story.
what would happen if tarkin and thrawn had to face off somehow... space armadas, close combat on a planets surface... name it.. who do you think would win.. and if forced to go against eachother, would it be sideous trying to bond them through mutual respect..
mineguy 2015 unlikely. The episodes involved are the ones that were already recorded but needed animation to be competed. That's why it's not a full season.

Thrawn explains to Vader that the general rule is that the force sensitive chiss are girls and the older they get, they begin they lose it. He goes on to say there are exceptions to the rule, implying that there have been boys that have been force sensitive. That hints at the possibility that perhaps Thrawn was force sensitive as a child.
Thrawn book one has a flaw now. If Thrawn worked with Anikin that long, then his report to the Palpatine would have shown he was fluent in "basic" so when he came to the Empire. Palpatine and Vader would have known he had no need for Eli Vanto....
I suspect, that he suspected (and thereafter confirmed), like some others, that Vader and Anakin are one and the same! Have you read the Thrawn book? I find that the answer to the video you posted a couple of days ago, as regards whether Snoke and the First Order took out the Chiss Ascendency, which, I am confident is in the negative now.
I would just like to say that Vader and anikin are 2 totally different people I don't know why you would associate the woman the other that's like comparing your 16 year old self to your 40 year old self 2 totally different people

Apparently not possible with the chiss as their force sensitive users are limited in time....and probably better this way...
