  • Hello everyone welcome back to OffTheJeepEnd!, today we are changing the shocks on our stock Jeep Cupid to try and bring some life back to this worn suspension, she is a 1995 Jeep Wrangler and we switched out her old shocks for a little bit newer shocks, although we don't have boots for them. Thank you for watching more videos coming, we will review the Cherokee lift and install nutstrips for the trailer hitch. Stay tuned, Like and Subscribe, Thank You and Enjoy!

I changed my YJ shocks a while ago. I only drive it aprox. 1500-2000 miles a year. I thought the best thing to do, because I wanted to improve the ability was to go with HD shocks (Replaced Front & Rear shocks, with Gabriel Ultra/Shock (lifetime warranty). To me it was a big mistake. The Jeep now rides VERY rough/stiff. I also removed the rear tac-bar.
Also, if I’m doing any nut/bolt removal, the day before and the day of the work, I spray PB B'laster Penetrant. Make life easier. Thanks

No problem! Not sure if your jeep is lifted or not but the leaf springs will be the best way to improve comfort in the ride and also I have my rear trac bar removed as well as the front and the drive is fairly smooth for a 25 year old vehicle haha

I cleaned the hood with a lot of spray nine, let it sit and then wipe off and repeat with soap and water, took a while, if you could take the hood off I would spray it with a hose. And yes shocks are great upgrade, this suspension is sagging so we will need a new suspension soon...

Anywhere it freezes and the roads get salted or de-iced. It's cancerous for 20+ yr old vehicles especially my 91 ive got a spot popping up on the hood now. Grr. I have a 6 inch lift mounted on top of axles. Running boards are waist high on 32 s but I replaced the entire suspension. Just not the axles yet. Unimog dreams lol
